Hello all,
As it's been nearly two weeks without a response, so I bring a warning to you all regarding the internet connection issues:
I was banned on 10/25 permanently with no prior warnings. I've created a ban appeal, but I can only assume it is for the poor connection I had due to my router being affected by the TP-link botnet issue along with all of the server issues Bungie has had since the release of the dungeon.
I spent a week getting black-screened, anteatered, bat'd and bee'd, playing with the same other two members on my fireteam, only ever playing PvE, losing loot, and getting soft locked in dual destiny and vespers host first boss, to be met on 10/25 with a permaban notice. I had to come to the help site to find out that getting a permaban was possible, with no warnings or lead-up for bad connection in a PvE game. I could understand if this was lag switching in Crucible or Gambit, or doing it to generate extra loot, but not when it is constant for just a week, and only in PvE activities, with the same two other people I've been playing with for years.
I am asking you all to be aware of your routers and be safe with your guardians. I fixed my router issue, but unless some real person is willing to look at my issue, I've potentially lost 4300 hours of D2 time to an extremely overzealous ban team/person.

They stopped issuing permabans for connection a long while ago. You were banned for something else.
