Can we get a Colonel and Archie story arc?
I'd like to see a little more camp and levity in the game... comedic relief.
How about Archie and the Colonel become friends?
How about their shenanigans help to introduce early game sidebar mechanics and systems in the future?
I just want an in-game image of the Colonel riding Archie like a horse operating a mini-gun called the "Pecker"... as in a chicken "pecking" the ground 😜.
Maybe we get a Heavy Burst HC with Ricochet Rnds called "The Pecker" as an introduction to their friendship.

Hopefully one day, Bungie adds in-game companions/pets to the game. After watching The Boys Season 4, episode 5. An immortal, bulletproof chicken/sheep of Light can be quite the useful companion. While The Kernel fights off 30 thralls, I can be on the defense, looking for an opening on the Hive's defenses. lol

In response, we're adding an exciting new mechanic featuring your favorite animal NPCs. Opening your bank vault or interacting with any vendors in the tower (except EverVerse) will now require memorizing 12 of 50 symbols floating above Archie (in reverse order), which will grant you a 30-second ScrewU debuff. Enter the symbols in reverse-reverse order to deposit the debuff with the Colonel on the other side of the tower before the debuff timer runs out, or you face a 5% chance to have your character deleted from your account! Also coming up, new season exotic quests will require 2.5 guardians to complete (you'll have to go in with three, but one will be required to quit halfway through the quest and will be locked out for 72 hours). Only one guardian will actually earn an exotic, 1 of 256 possible rolls. Finally: we're nerfing warlock supers, rocket sidearms, rocket launchers, and three random grenade launchers per week, as well as adding roaming void hydras and surges to all community public areas (including the HELM), which will now be capped at -15 power level. Game on, guardian!

10 RepliesNo. Bungie have tried comic relief before through Finch and Nimbus, both were written poorly and neither fit the game. While comedy can be used in the franchise Bungie have been incapable of doing it well since D1 Cayde.

Make both of them Guardians somehow. I'd play any storyline that had us interacting with animal Guardians.

1 ReplyI’d rather Archie ate Colonel. If that’s too upsetting then I guess he could spit Colonel back out if Ada-1 runs out and tells him off (Sylvester & Tweety style). He could also bite Drifter in the 🫏 at each Gambit rank reset and jump up at Hawthorne for a clap, making her stumble over the edge of the tower.
