Nova Bomb tracking!!
Does Nova Bomb seems little "off" to anyone else as far as tracking now?
Seems like when I use it with Prismatic that it just flies past the enemies!

1 ReplyIt wiffs a lot. Which is why i dont use. Its bad enough throwing orbs from breach go right through and dont explode. How does a 20 foot wide purple ball not land on a target lmao.

I noticed last season there was an update (I think it was introduction of ITL), and after that the slova bomb lost a considerable amount of tracking. I would often curve my nova around objects and had a good general feel for where to aim and still have it track to where I am trying to hit. After the update, I started (and still do) whiff a lot more when trying to curve it. I try to curve the nova often so that teammates can still shoot the boss with goldie or weapons without hitting the nova... occasionally I need to shoot the nova now over the head of the boss because it fails to curve.

Edited by The Hermit IX: 6/28/2024 7:06:10 AMGet closer lol. If you’re throwing it from a distance there’s a good chance it will drift off. Nova Bomb went from being an after thought to one of the best supers in the game. I use it all the time now with an exotic bond with Star Eaters.
