Exotic Ciphers - Need more sources
As the title suggests, we need more sources to acquire these ciphers.
If we could hold more than one previously, I would’ve been swimming in them by now.
Either that or let us make exotics artifice with shards/prisms.

How can we claim loot from past seasons? Edit: How to claim past seasons rewards: * Visit Bungie's official Destiny 2 website. * Click on your account icon in the top right and sign in if you aren't already, using an email and password or a linked account such as Steam. * Once logged in, click on your account icon in the top right and select "Season Pass Progress." * Select "Previous Season" in the upper left. Here, you'll see any unclaimed Season Pass rewards from the previous season. Click "Claim," and they'll be sent to your Destiny 2 inventory or the Postmaster if your inventory is full.

For enhancing exotic armor it should use something like Ascendant Alloy instead. I understand not making Exotic Ciphers unlimited farm because of the Exotic Archive - you would be able to farm up and get pretty much all exotics within a week. However if you want to have 3 classes with multiple loadouts for different encounters (such as Crucible vs PvE content) then it should be easier to enhance exotic armor for sure

1 ReplyI agree two per week is quite slim, especially with how many exotics we have to upgrade to artifice armor. However, we can hold 5 at a time, not just 1, (perhaps the description is wrong in Xenology, but I promise I had a stack of 5 in my inventory at the start of this expansion).

Would be nice if we could farm an unlimited number of them from Xur, only being allowed to earn 1 a week is not the way

They do things like this on PURPOSE. Gatekeep and drag out things just to get us to grind. It's gotten very old..Just like the glimmer cap they used to have, and farming for destination materials. Just a slugfest. And it's worn out.

So 2 a week isn’t enough. Weekly exotic rotator normal gives you 4 strike credit. Legend gives 7. Flip rahool for one. Flip xur for another. Plus cuts quest. Use strange boon weekly. It will double stack for 2 of 7 days

This ^^^^ Just add them to Rahools exchange system. Problem solved.

4 RepliesThink there is more ways to earn them now than before in my destiny lifetime. The Xur reward track and Xenology quest. Also the Rahool track seems to offer one at the end of each reset. And there was one on completion of one of those Micah quests in a strike or mission.
