...is great, keep it. Getting my butt clapped actually made me consider my loadouts and tactics and after I started playing a little bit smarter, everything became a lot less painfull. When I'm tired of thinking too much I just go to vent in EDZ or some other vanilla patrol.
Sure, the difficulty requires some small adjustments here and there, but overall it's great, because it makes ppl engage with game systems.

Only area I don’t really like the change is Neomuna patrol. Otherwise, I’m in agreement. Build-crafting takes all of 5 minutes now (heavy finder, some orb generating mod, surge mods, done) and the max effective level means activities don’t become completely trivial by the end of the season.

It's not "difficult". Just tedious.
-
I agree but be prepared for this to be downvoted to oblivion by the army of noobs that patrol this forum since patrolling Neomuna is too complicated for them
-
I'm gonna do it southern preacher style "amen to that, brother".

Exactly. Creating a build for certain content takes 5 minutes and they even finally gave us in-game loadouts (which, even without the artifact being part of it is a huge step up for those who didn’t know about or refused to use DIM). The majority of the content in the game is finally engaging and it feels more consistently about enjoying the gameplay than a meaningless grind through mind-numbingly easy slop.

I love it too.

I'm enjoying it but I see where the criticism from people is coming from to a degree. With a bit of thinking and practice though it's fine. I wasn't a fan of the new build crafting at the start but now it makes sense it's decent.
