This is prob one of the best expansions we’ve had for in game storytelling. I haven’t had to explain anything to my friends. The narrative was easy enough for them to follow and they even got pretty hyped when they realized Ana and Elsie are sisters, discovered the Clovis head, etc. I’d say if there’s any feedback bungie should take, it’s to do more storytelling like Beyond Light. You’re never gonna get all the lore in game, that just wouldn’t make sense. Where would they find time/justification to give us an in game story of how banshee became banshee? Or how Clovis was a full on mad scientist. There is no time. That’s why it’s lore. In game storytelling is for what’s happening in the present, lore is for what’s happened in the past.
