Is Horizon Zero Dawn as generic as Ubisoft's open world games?
I'm thinking of buying it, but from the gameplay trailers I've watched it's looks more or less generic (explore, climb, kill mechanic dino, a bit of story, repeat).
Makes me worried it's as generic as Ubisoft's open world games (Far Cry, AC). Far Cry bores the shit out of me and the last AC game I played (Origins) bored me after only a few days.

Combat is always challenging unless you grab all the crafting materials all the time, but then that’s just the game rewarding you for your efforts. This is coming from someone who hates 99.9% of Ubisoft games. EDIT: One thing I will add, is that there is no aim assist at all, so you can’t just let the game play itself for you. I also recommend on playing on at least hard.
