My Opinion / Feedback from a Collector's Collection

So in most games I find myself as a gamer type that is a Collector, and for most seasons Destiny has allowed for collecting. But with the season passes I find more items that I am not getting then in previous seasons. In case you don't know and gamers can by quadranted into four types, Killers, Explorers, Collectors and Socializers. Any to much of catering to one pushes the others away. The most successful is a balance between all. But regardless below is a good example, with the data from my sparrows collections: SEASON 01 - 13/31 -- 42% collected SEASON 02 - 28/52 -- 54% collected SEASON 03 - 18/29 -- 62% collected SEASON 04 - 15/27 -- 56% collected SEASON 05 - 16/21 -- 76% collected SEASON 06 - 17/22 -- 77% collected SEASON 07 - 06/14 -- 43% collected SEASON 08 - 02/09 -- 22% collected SEASON 09 - 01/12 -- 08% collected If we were to look at this as a line chart, you would see that the collectability got progressively better until season 7 and then drops off substantially. Across the line graph the amount per season of sparrows is a downward line. Both ships and ghosts do mostly the same as well. This also does not take into account the ability or actuality of getting these items (raid, eververse, etc.). Collections are taking a huge hit with the Seasons model. Gamer type "Collectors" tend to play games the most to "catch em' all". This is a very bad equation for the sustainability of a balanced game.
