Suddenly asked about cross-save again at login

So I've just disconnected from the game, as it happens these days. However, as I try to reconnect, after login, I'm asked to make sure my setup cross-save settings are in order before proceeding. I've had that dialog already after shadowkeep launch and I've played during the last week - and I'm actually a bit apprehensive about clicking OK again, since I have no idea if this is a bug, if this would re-overwrite my characters with the battle.net import or if this would simply do nothing. I came from battle.net with the shadowkeep launch. I had the confirmation dialog about cross-save I confirmed then I had the correct characters transferred I played since then I've just been asked to acknowledge the cross save dialog again.

  • I just received this message on a first boot of the day. I'm on PS4 and haven't attempted any cross save features.

    • I was prompted about cross save on first boot yesterday as well. Now any items I transfer with dim flash constantly and I can't clear the flash. Weird.

      If you already have everything set up as intended and you're not using Cross-Save, then you can safely disregard the information box. If you are using Cross-Save, and have already been playing Shadowkeep fine, then you can still safely disregard the information box. Bungie is still trying to help people make sure that they have Cross-Save enabled before logging in on the alternate characters after purchasing Shadowkeep to avoid the issue of that person applying their Season Passes to the wrong save data. You may get the popup multiple times, especially during or after maintenance, when changes are made behind the scenes.
