Maybe it’s just me, but I think the reward is not even close to the grind with this one. If you do well, like let’s say 20-30 scout kills a game, you’ll only be getting maybe 3-5% on the scout kills. Sure multikills will likely get this percentage up quicker, but we’re talking scout rifles which in this current meta are garbage and you’ll likely not get many multikills with one. And that’s only scout rifle kills, let’s not even get started on the kills and medals part of the quest. I don’t know exactly because bungie really -blam!-ing loves percentages instead of actual numbers, but I’ve heard rumors of needing up to 1,400 kills for this step. [i][b]1400.[/b][/i] Yes medals make this go by much quicker, but either the medals are bugged or extremely specific because sometimes I can go 4 games getting tons of medals without going up a single percent, and sometimes I’ll do worse and go up a few percent. The last step is of course get 2100 glory, which is pretty standard by now and will be the quickest and easiest step by far. So what’s your reward for all of that? A primary 260 with your average rolls. Nothing really special about it other than it being a primary 260 yet the grind for it can easily take longer than recluse and mountaintop, which [i][b]IS NOT OKAY[/b][/i]. Bungie, I know you wanna drag out that content so it seems like there’s a lot more to do than there actually is, but something about this quest needs to change. If a grind is long, stretching it out a few months won’t make the grind any shorter.[/spoiler] I’ll keep posting this until it gets noticed by bungie, no quest should be this broken.
