I am just tired. I am tired mentally. I am tired of eating the same meals over and over again. I am tired of not being able to work on my ODST cosplay. I am tired of having to do chores that my other family members should be doing. I am tired of being tired. I have been working a lot lately. I work part time at a vacation resort(this is the same place I worked last summer). I am only supposed to be part time but we are a person down because that girl went psycho( another story for another time). We should have 8 workers at full capacity. Then our manager got promoted to overseeing the entire resort. Now our new manager(she is really fun to work with btw) has to constantly be going between offices, so half the time it is like she is not even working(if you get a shift with her, you have to except her to be gone most of the time). It does not really help the situation that she is 3 months pregnant. We are all hoping she has a boy. Then we have another girl who is 8 months pregnant. Because she and one of the other girls is pregnant, the other 4 of us have to pick up slack by doing heavy lifting and working with pool chemicals. So it is just me(17), another guy(19), another girl(17) and an old lady. The old lady’s father has been having medical problems of late so we can’t rely on her that much. So us three have a lot of slack to pick up. I have worked 5 days in a row. The 17 yr old girl has worked a week straight and has had to do over time to cover the old lady. In doing so, she had a 9 hour shift without any breaks. Pretty sure that is illegal in this state. The other guy has worked 2 weeks straight(he gets called in on his days off). So we are all tired. We are all supposed to be part timers but we have been pulling +40 hour weeks. Then don’t even get me started on having to work the 4th of July. Due to all this work, I haven’t been able to do anything for me. I had today off. I had to buy a new pair of shoes because of all the walking I do at work. It was nice because I got to see one of my friends because he works at the shoe store. That was about all I could do to have fun today. So, I am gonna read Halo: Thursday War until I get too tired to read anymore and fall asleep. It is actually a really good book. But once I go to sleep, I want to try and sleep for 12 hours.
