Are you sure about that? I was curious about how much success you were having using off-meta weapons because I've always felt I'd be eaten alive in comp on console if I wasn't using a god rolled erentil/pulse/shotgun and/or lunas/service revolver, so I checked you out on destiny tracker for a minute.
Dissapointingly, since the start of the season you've almost always used some sort meta-friendly loadout in comp, to very rare exception. There were also plenty of times when you used the classic "ultra-sweaty" loadout of DRB-Lunas-Wardcliff Coil, or paired luna with another shotgun. Maybe I didn't use a large enough sample size but since the start of the season I also couldn't find a single game where you used sweet buisness. I didn't do a ton of research, these were just my initial impressions, so I don't want to call you a liar. But, you did say that you used it for the "majority" of 0-2100 comp...
Now, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with playing the meta, it tragically seems like you almost have to if you want to do well. But, even what I just found in a quick 5-10 minute search basically disproves your argument that Lunas/NF are easy to beat out, as you "succumbed" to using them plenty of times even though, as you've claimed, players in low-level comp are so bad that you shouldn't have had to.
