Nerfed Luna will create - no need to go to competetive by randoms and solo players. I heard something about making comp more popular? After that great meta change - there will be no reason to go there. ANOTHER scenario is: Bungie create another super duper gun in comp in season 7. Try hards will grind and another poison weapon will be ruling next 2 seasons because Bungie thinking is slow.

The patch notes don't even sound that bad first of all. If you can aim it's not going to change much for you, it might become used more on pc because of the changes. You're taking the patch notes as if they're changing luna's and nf nerfing it like how they did nova warp, they're not. The guns aren't gonna to be destroyed, they still want them to be good weapons but just not have them dominate like how they were. Bungie literally are only changing the weapons from a 180 bpm to a 150 bpm and tuning mag howl that's it. I'll even paste what they said again
Our current plan is to make Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten the only 150 RPM precision Hand Cannons. They will maintain some aspects of their current behavior while taking on the firing speed and damage of the 150 RPM Hand Cannons. Magnificent Howl will also be adjusted so that it increases only body-shot damage, resulting in a two headshot/one body-shot kill. Magnificent Howl will still give an advantage due to requiring less precision hits for optimal time to kill

If You're good at aiming it's not going to change anything
I know what are they trying to do. I play a lot of the hand cannons in PVP. And I can tell you one thing: Trust with explosive round is already a good defense against Luna's Howl (and they are both in 180 RPM) After the Patch Luna's will fire a little bit faster than Diuk 44 - Trust will beat Luna in 2 arguments (faster firing + explosive round). The future of PVP in D2 during season 7 in community will be: Nerf trust cause i Can't shoot with my 150 RPM luna's. As I was saying earlier: Competetive will lose a lot of players because they are slowly losing a reason to fight for that gun.
