Yep. And their business partner isn’t. This game will never die to the point they turn off the servers. But Bungie is basically able to cripple this game to the point that it becomes a pale shadow of what it once was.

The people that play now and have played since d1 will continue to do so. No crying, no pathetic banter about a in game economy, they’ll just play. You are wrong and will continue to be wrong and destiny 3 will show that

I played since D1 and I won’t be back for D3 if this crap continues, stopped playing since January. How many people still playing today actually paid for the game ? I’d guess a lot playing ATM got the game for free when Bungie was giving it away Because sales where so bad they needed to increase the numbers, you know it’s bad when they have to give the game away to get people to play it . Bungie is a business and it’s aim is making money If sales fall so will the business, like it or not this is what happens when the money stops coming in, and I don’t think the 600 k players playing now is anywhere near what Bungie will need to keep them in business. Time will tell

D1 beta player and I am done as well. They need to make some serious changes for me to come back. If this game was anything like D1 at the end of its lifespan I would still be playing.
-
Only problem. I’m one of the people you’re asserting will continue to play no matter what. I’ve got almost 5000 hours invested in this franchise and I’m am committed to not giving Bungie another dime of my money until this is fixed. I walked away from The Division 1 for less...and only playing The Division 2 because Massive fixed what I was objecting to. So if you think that I and those like me won’t drop this game if this pissing contest drags on, you’re fooling yourself.
-
Well looks like division 1 and 2 and destiny are all still here without you.
-
And yet....somehow....The Division 2 is the game that I wanted The Division 1 to become. Gee....I WONDER how that happened..... ....its a mystery.......
