Of course you would use the update as a chance to advertise your overpriced paywalled emotes which should be earnable in-game as your franchise is already too expensive. Unfortunately, your greed and incompetence know no bounds. Continue enjoying your downfall as failures in the Industry.

  • I agree. The season of the drifter is so lacking in any decent content, give us something. But no, they wanna try to charge extra/nickel and dime players for emotes, ships, sotd weapon ornaments, and worst of all the Thorn ornament. Doing this just fills me with such resent toward this franchise. If they were fairly priced I'd be ok, but $5-$15 for ONE ornament is Ludacris.

You do realize they had to pay for the Publishing rights? Think that woulda been cheap? No it wasn’t, so if they wanna sell emotes because they are just damn emotes let them.

  • If they did indeed have to buy the publishing rights from Activision, who's fault is that? Not the players. Come up with a better idea if theyre hurting for money that bad (they're not).

That was the only option.

Annual pass yes is basically the premium content, but every sandbox update, arc week , revelry, heck a few more things on that roadmap cost nothing but time. Again Bungie is not nearly as big of a company as people believe.

I can at least give them that. Considering the transition isn’t as simple as the conversation we are having. The changes upcoming are in no way lackluster and unneeded. They could’ve said screw the roadmap but they didn’t. I won’t ignore their wrongs, but that doesn’t mean I should ignore their rights as well.

As this would've been breach of contract and everyone would have been entitled to a refund for the annual pass. Edit: Not to mention most of the content was probably already developed by the time they released the road map.

It can’t because of logistics. 750 workers would seem like a lot if they all worked on exactly the same thing. If you read the first chapter of a book and then the description on the back you can figure out basically what’s going on. However you’ll still miss the whole story. I don’t expect Bungie to work as fast as Ubisoft, blizzard, or even Square Enix not with the limited sources they have.

  • Everything I stated is true too though, the lack of employees, paying for the IP, prioritizing the roadmap, hiring more employees. Etc Some of what I said, sure is speculation, but so is assuming that every error is based on incompetence. That’s like saying every success was perfectly planned. Sometimes crap just happens, other times you get lucky. I’m not defending I’m simply stating that there is more to it. I’m not going to bash something without taking into account what they did correctly, I’m not going to praise something without expressing there errors. But I’ll always acknowledge both.

  • Jesus Christ they're emote. No need to get your panties in a twist about it when everything else is earned through gameplay. That Arcstrider one will be the first thing I've bought from Everpurse since Y1 Dawning, even then didn't spend a lot. At least I know that the purchase will go to Bungie and not Activision.
