This week at Bungie, we’re getting ready for some high voltage.
A storm is brewing. Next week, we’ll kick off what we’ve been calling Arc Week. Our goal for this happening has been to take the element that makes our sandbox crackle and put it under the microscope. The most noticeable update is that we improved many Arc subclass paths from the time before Forsaken. The week will also feature Arc Singe and Arc Bounties to synergize with your updated abilities. To provide a proving grounds for all this new energy, Mayhem will be available in the Crucible to let you experiment with your enhanced Arc abilities using shockingly short cooldowns.
Arc Week will also feature one of the most powerful Arc weapons ever created, the Thunderlord Exotic Machine Gun. If you weren’t able to complete the quest to obtain Thunderlord last year, you will have from April 9 to April 23 to revisit the Cosmodrome and add it your collection.

Disappointed to hear that the Suros Catalyst is restricted to the Crucible. Why not just make all Catalysts available from both PvE and PvP? Then everyone *might* be happy.
-
TIL that “arc week” was a sandbox update all along. I’m genuinely happy for the changes, but it comes across as a little melodramatic.
-
Just another reason pvp can go........ we do not want to play your crap crucible to obtain catalyst for suros, get a grip bungie. Stop forcing pvp.
-
Another god damned catalyst linked to -blam!-ing Crucible, give it the -blam!- up Bungie.
-
Arc week sounds pathetic I didn’t realise we were now adding updates and patches to the annual pass, and passing it off as content.
-
"You may be asking “What about Spectral blades???” We know it’s out of bounds" and won't touch it at all....... Thanks, #Titan. Oh, that was sarcasm.
-
Cozmo, are you also doing a exotic week?
-
you ever just stub your toe and scream internally?
-
So I take it the Cosmodrome is NOT a one and done as was said before, well played Bungie. Why not bring back other places as well while you are at it? Give us more destinations to swing by. Any way to get some new enemies as well??? (shot in the dark)
-
hey bungie, when are we getting the new exotic quest for all players? there was one in the roadmap, and if you try to pass of thunderlord as the free exotic quest I will be extremely mad.
-
I’m super disappointed in how everything that is even mildly cool in eververse is now direct purchase only. That’s a pretty shitty move to not give players a reward to actually work for rather than pay real world money for.
-
Cozmo you think y'all could make a change to eververse to where after you've gotten everything the notorious and any future season engrams drop only the armor .. really cool armor from eververse but very hard to get good rolls on whole set.. All the cosmetic ships and sparrows are no good once you've gotten 1 you can then go to collections and get the perk you want .. I don't think making the armor be the only thing that drops once you've gotten everything else hurts anything if anything it's more incentive to gain xp for the engrams

Edited by DeVViLL86: 4/5/2019 5:11:17 PMCan we have a top tree Titan hammers buf? That is so underpowered right now. In pve I can trow only 6 hammers. Really? 6? I mean my super is 6 seconds only. Also the super must activate a little more fast, animation when activate the super take too long and some times in activities I get killed right after I cast my super and is no fun. Also the Titan shield must activate a little quicker. In pvp I am tired to get killed by 1 hit warlocks and hunters while our supers are active. Maybe some can't agree with me, I don't care like bungie don't care about us, but the Titan feel so underpowered.
-
Rat King is the only notable thing about this update. I really do think that the only way to reintroduce some people back into Destiny is if more gear is added to more than just one aspect of the game.
-
No buff to thundercrash? WTH
-
Erm I wonder if those new emotes are only available for silver ? Again bungo trying to screw the last drop of goodwill and cash out of us faithful few . Out of 14 Millon theres just under 4 hundred thousand of us left and yet the only vendor you update is the friggin eververse thanks for D1 but D2 has been a lesson on how to kill your own game .Maybe take a lesson from division 2 who do a stream every week where there community managers and developers actually do there jobs and work with the community imagine that what a wierd concept
-
Did you remove the loss penalty in comp when you start with a short stack or 2 guardians leave your team in the opening minute of a match yet? Off course not.
-
Nova bomb still needs work.
-
Of course you would use the update as a chance to advertise your overpriced paywalled emotes which should be earnable in-game as your franchise is already too expensive. Unfortunately, your greed and incompetence know no bounds. Continue enjoying your downfall as failures in the Industry.

Bungie still doesn’t respect the time of people that play this game. It stems from poor design implemented in the base game of D2. and has been further exacerbated by puzzling choices made in changes to your core systems, coupled with a glacially slow response with the few positive changes you have made. Furthermore, the stubbornness you exhibit regarding certain aspects of the game would be admirable if those aspects weren’t so terrible that they are best described as a hill you are willing to die on. Sometimes you need to make the tough decision of admitting you were wrong and correct your poor choices. All the goodwill that was earned by D1 has been squandered by the mess of D2. Even with its troubles, D1 was a great game - not a masterpiece, but a great game. D2 was a terrible game at launch and subsequent changes amount to nothing more than painting over flaws in the construction. The most gracious way to describe D2 is that it is a heavily nerfed version of D1. I didn’t even touch on how cynical you have turned most of the players of your games. Hopefully your next product can be great at launch and start to begin the rebuilding process of trust in the community. Trust in a relationship (and this is a relationship) is easily lost, and hard to regain. You have a long road ahead of you if you want my trust again (and other players like me).

I think I recognize this play. Is this the one where you release subclass upgrades to disrupt and realign the meta? Only later to find out you did not properly test these changes and have to do a quick fix? After which you then get a flood of complaints for fixing and then screwing their favorite character type subclass? Cool, I hope it goes well.

Edited by Wheelaa1: 4/5/2019 4:08:21 PMThus far 'Arc week' seems to be a balance update with paid for emotes. Takes balls to have this on a roadmap! Should read 'Arc weak'. Maybe there's more to come, surprise me lol. (I imagine the emotes are already made for 'Solar week' and 'Void week'. Weak!)

Edited by name: 4/5/2019 9:18:14 AMa infusion cores player dissatisfaction storm is brewing, and bungie acts like a ostrich with his head buried in sand
-
Sounds all good ....... but we still have a problem with enhancement cores cozmo. Here’s a suggestion remove enhancement cores from infusing. #Remove enhancement cores from infusing
-
infusion cores not removed from infusion, nice try bungie, give it another go next time.
