(Continuing from Part 9 with the Artemis, Jay, and False having made their choices.) Jay: *turns to False And Artemis*. "Sorry guys..." (Jay walks towards Reign-Beaux, turning away from the others.) False: *blood boiling*. "What the hell Jay? You're betraying us?!" Jay: *turns to False*. "You know False, sometimes being nice gets you killed, I don't plan on dying right now." False: "... Screw you." Artemis: *standing in silence*. "...." Reign-Beaux: "you've made a wise choice Jay. Now, I want you to kill your two friends where they stand." Jay: *shocked*. "Huh?? Why would you make me do that?" Reign-Beaux: "you wish to survive do you not? Do as I command." (Reign grabs a dark sword from his waist that is covered with chains and strange demonic writing on it, handing it to Jay.) Jay: *takes the sword*. "...." Reign-Beaux: "execute them. Don't worry, they can't resist, their fate is sealed the moment they decided to defy me." Jay: "Um...." (Reign forces Artemis and False down to their knees from a strange pressure above them.) Jay: *walks over to Artemis*. "...." Artemis: *hangs her head*. "You'll get nothing from me Jay." Jay: "I'm sorry..." (Jay sticks the sword into the back of Artemis's neck, killing her. As Jay pulls the sword out, it glows in a bright darkness as it disintegrates Artemis's body.) Jay: *closes his eyes*. "God damnit..." Reign-Beaux: *staring at Jay*. "Having second thoughts?" Jay: *deep breath*. "No, they made their choice and I made mine." (Jay walks over to False) False: *looks at Jay*. "If I could move right now I would rip your head off with my bare hands. You're gonna regret this decision you made." Jay: *darkness from the sword slips into Jay's veins on his hand*. "I'm going to make this more painful for you False." (Jay grabs False's chin and sticks the sword down his throat, slowly killing him.) Jay: *pulls the sword out and drops it*. "Why did I just do that?!" Reign-Beaux: *picks up the sword*. "Thank you Jay, you're services are no longer required." Jay: *turns to Reign*. "What do you mean? Where's my power up?!" Reign-Beaux: *dark cackle*. "You thought I would actually give you something? Hah! Dumbass." (Reign grabs Jay by his neck and smashes him through the wall of the throne room, holding him out above the clouds.) Reign-Beaux: "look down kid, if you survive this fall that's your freedom. Oh and you can keep the sword, if it doesn't land on you." (Reign drops Jay from the castle above the clouds and tosses the sword out with him.) Reign-Beaux: *turns to Elik*. "Time for the long night to begin." Elik: "Are you going after the dude now?" Reign-Beaux: *fixing the straps on his armor*. "Yes. The storm is clearing with my arrival and a new moon is born, it's time for the Dark City to change with the new birth." Elik: "fascinating! This world will become what is was always meant to be." Reign-Beaux: "I don't want to see you here again Elik, if I have to come back for you, I'm going to kill you." Elik: "then I will depart immediately with the others, enjoy your hunt." ------------------------------------------------------- (Somewhere below the clouds where Jay was thrown, on a patch of grass beneath a dead tree.) Jay: *wakes up*. "Ugh, I survived?" ???: "you survived. Pretty long fall there too, I know I would've had trouble." (Jay sits up and rubs his face as he notices the person speaking to him is a male wearing a long, gray, fur, coat with white hair and two futuristic pistols at his hips.) ???: *helps Jay to his feet and hands him the sword that Reign had*. "That really your sword? Doesn't look like it would belong to you." Jay: *heavy sigh*. "It's not mine, some asshole divine tricked me into killing my friends and then gave it to me after throwing me from the sky." ???: *looks up as the clouds begin to fade*. "I see. Well, we better find a safe place, the night is going to be long and dangers will start to emerge." Jay: *wraps the sword around his waist*. "What's your name?" ???: *places his hand on Jay's shoulder with a big smile*. "Stark, I'm kind of a big deal, people know me." --------------------------------------------------------- (Back in the library with Davy, Worm, Turtle and Hammer, they have finally found the exit out.) Davy: *puts his sword back on his back*. "That took awhile..." Worm: "good job Davy!" HammerFist: "the others aren't here, let's get out of this library and see what's up the stairs." (The 4 head up the spiral stairs leading to a small door. Hammer opens the door and the 4 head out.) Darth Turtle: *looks around*. "Uh, is this the same city we were at last time?" (The area the 4 have entered is a dark room with 3 doors leading outside to different areas, a dim lamp with a blue light sitting in the middle of the room and a sign that reads "Cathedral Ward".) Worm: "hm, lots of urns around here." Davy: "I don't think we are in the same city, there's gotta be something different going on here." HammerFist: "let's look around and find out! It could just be a different section." Davy: "alright alright, we've got nothing else to do anyway, heh." HammerFist: *shakes his head*. "Sigh.." (End of Part 10.)
