Wholeheartedly agree. They seriously need to wake up! Another bullshit copy and paste response from Bungie! It's never any different. How they think that this convoluted bullshit puzzle to unlock content is acceptable is beyond me. Another case of base stupidity in just simply not understanding their own player base. I mean, these sort of puzzles are fine within the game itself, like in unlocking the 3 Forge Emblems. They aren't mandatory or required for progression, they're just secrets within the game. But this? This puzzle lies beyond the problem-solving scope of pretty much 99.9% of all Destiny players. A step too far Bungie, way too far.

Bungie losing players. So they going streaming route to build hype up for the game and get people to buy. People ain't going buy trash that has no content and poorly executed black armory.

The interesting part is ... someone had to sign off on this idea. That makes this whole issue even scarier and worrisome. And even worse ... this was apparently the best option of all of them (if it was even a multiple choice deal) to decide to publish. Not pretty.

Bump! I mean well done to whoever come up with this for the creativity behind it, it is nuts but it's an 'experiment' I guess, but christ! all this just to actually unlock content... yeah totally backfired. Hats off too to the guys out there trying to decipher it all as well... I'm reading someone has finally cleared Wave 6 too... Seems we've been "missing the forest for the trees"

I don't think that is true. While Bungie does seem to be tone deaf, they are in a small way trying. Just look at the fiasco that is Fallout 76 and Bethesda. But they have screwed the pooch on Black Armory for sure.

The mid-core players need love, too. Destiny 2 has gone from one extreme to the other. Time to find the middle ground that Destiny 1 had and stay there, regardless of what the other extremes say. Extremes have no purpose in anything.

It does and I read on twitter you can max out you're gear and not be limited like destiny 2 gear system.

It has. Every piece of armor can have any perk, and there are even armor set boni!

We have arnor set bonuses in Destiny 2 as well. They are called "looking like a trash can".

From what I have seen it has a lot more in common with classic MMORPGs than most open world shooters. Defined roles (eg: tank, support, do’s) in multiplayer mode, focus on combos, etc. A lot less of the over-scripted, mechanic-oriented end game encounters that have overtaken Destiny. I love the aesthetic qualities and gun play in Destiny, but over reliance on gimmicks (platforming, puzzles, time gates) just takes away from the core of what it does really well (shooting).

Yes. That is what I am thinking, so much. Destiny has always had the best gun mechanics, and that was my one point to stay. But with Anthem bringing the mentioned mechanics, it is easy to neglect Destiny and its weapons.

Have you seen the combat / gun mechanics in Anthem? They look beyond terrible, watched some gameplay the other day and I’m no longer interested in it.

From what I have seen the gun play mechanics are not close to those if Destiny...I have not seen/played any game that comes close to D1 or D2. I actually see Anthem as more of an action MMORPG than a pure loot shooter. This being the case, based on what has been revealed, Anthem looks promising in that it will allow for character development, team role playing and variable complexity in ways that Destiny currently does not. My primary issue with Destiny is that if feels as though the inherent strength of the game - gunplay and loot questing - is consistently usurped by needless gimmicks like incessant platforming, time gates, puzzles,etc. I play a shooter to shoot things. If I wanted puzzles and platforms I’d just play Tomb Raider.
