Subnautica for FREE on Epic Games Store.
Now until December 27 you can download Subnautica for free through the Epic Games Store on PC.
This is a great deal. Subnautica is an amazing game. Worth experiencing. You’re basically a Star Trek Federation Engineer marooned on a planet made entirely of water. Your goal: Survive.
The under water open environment mirrors our real life oceans filled with alien creatures. And your natural primal fear of being in the open ocean will keep your pulse racing as if you were playing Alien: Isolation.
Subnautica is a one of a kind game that I’m sure many games will imitate.
Plus on PC if you got the hardware you can play it in VR. Games like this are why games were invented in the first place. A unique experience you can’t get anywhere else.

I can confirm that this is an incredible game! Oxygen management is such a great mechanic and it can make even something like hunting become life-threatening if you slip up. Really fun gameplay, beautiful, atmospheric environments- my only gripe is that base building feels awkward (I do play on Xbox-not sure about PC). Overall, though, an incredible game well worth it’s full price, never mind if it’s free!

Ooh, that's nice to know. I doubt my poor PC could run it, but we'll see lol. I don't have the epic games launcher, but that should be free too, right?
