I am writing this post in order to receive some clarification or closure regarding the Redrix's Broadsword final quest step. So basically, before season 5 started I grinded out the crucible valor resets and had reached my fifth reset and completed the quickplay, competitive, and rumble match quest step and reached the bounties quest step (either on the day season 5 began or a day before or after) where upon completing the quest step and reaching the reset step, my progress did not count towards the quest step (the step says complete 5 valor rank resets within a single season, which I completed and have the triumph to prove so). I was very confused and upset because I had read that any progress made towards that step beforehand would be counted, but as of the time I am writing this post, I still don't have my Redrix's and I am a little more than upset and defeated at this point. Before anyone comments, yes I am aware that Bungie themselves have said "progress made towards the valor ranks reset step will only count for the season in which the player has the quest in their inventory" But this theoretically means I should have the quest completed because I picked up the quest during season 4 and no where in game or on the forums did Bungie say that the entire quest had to be completed in one full season, and they even said themselves that any progress made towards the reset step before reaching it will count. If Bungie intended this quest to be completed in one season, the final step should have read Complete 5 Valor Rank resets within "the current" season, not "within a single" season like it says in game. Long story short, I just want some clarification from either Bungie themselves, a community manager, or anyone who has knowledge about this that can help, because I am not the only one having this issue, but more than that I should not have to do 5 more resets within a single season when I have already completed what was asked of me.
