Stuff like this makes me hope Anthem provides a good alternative to destiny.

I just HOPE they continue through without adding PvP. I feel like they will cave at some point and it will ruin that game too though.

Agreed. Pvp without being completely separate has ruined destiny. A fact bungie, of all devs, should have known.

Mass effect 3 and A both had exclusively pve multiplayer. I played and loved the shit out of it.

Those were good games. But even though I enjoyed ME:A’s multiplayer mode, it had serious issues (mostly because of lag). And RNG loot boxes that were pay-to-win.

Yeah bro, I played ME3 multiplayer for hundreds of hours. It was PVE multiplayer done right. Would love if Anthem has something like that.

2 mln at best on a Sunday following a free release of the game to half a billion people? Not sure you realize how bad this is. Bungie can tap into the lgbt segment as much as they like, and bait them with plenty eververse goodies, it’s not going to make up for the missing revenues.

There may have been a lapse in communication here. I am 100% not saying there aren't other games to play. I'm personally a fan of many story based, action adventure games. Replayed witcher 3 for probably the 18th time last week and probably gonna end up buying RDR 2. What I meant was that for what Destiny is and the specific game roll that it plays, you'd be hard pressed to find a game that fulfills the requirements needed to actually replace Destiny

I don't believe the poster said he played PvP. In fact, the first example he provided was a single player. If you're one of those people who believes that Destiny's only value is PvP, perhaps you'd be happier in another game? Destiny's strength is the PvE experience, the team building, the social aspect. PvP doesn't even rank in the top ten reasons I play, nor any of my friends reasons...

Alright, I don’t like playing the exact same game types in pve, (exterminate interception etc) with little to no variety, against the same exact enemies. Even destiny has far more variety with its defend the ghost while he hacks a door gimmick, even though that’s not even a thing

That’s.. Funny.. Warframes variety makes Destiny look stupid.. Because well.. Destiny severely lacks any any gameplay diversity.. It’s one of its biggest failings.. One Warframe has more play style choices than all of Destiny characters combined.. That’s sad😞

Gameplay diversity? I just told you it’s the same game modes with ads switched...interception will always be 4 zones with different ads and no different mechanics. Exterminate is the same as well. The only unique things they had were their buggy mess of raids which were so hard for the devs to fix that they scrapped them and replaced them with eidolons, which are essentially glorified public event bosses lol. There is no variety of content in that garbage game. All you do is just grind mastery, everyone thinks it’s a great game and totally better than destiny up until around mr5-10 because after that you realize you’re doing the exact same thing. All my mr25 and other max rank friends figured out the same thing about it
