I’m curious if we’re allowed to sue over this.
It would make since cause cheaters who get a free pass shouldn’t be allowed in an online game especially if it kicks you from in game.

You’re allowed to sue yourself for being an idiot who doesn’t read what he signs.
-
What? I asked a question. Everything after the question is irrelevant is only what I would like regardless of facts on what I actually can do. So either answer the question or fück off. Simple.
Hopefully you can comprehend unlike the guy below.
Edited by Kouz_MC: 11/6/2018 3:50:33 AMI answered dumbass! Read the -blam!-ing contract b4 spamming « accept » Then you will understand how stupid your question is. Once again, let me give you the legal reply: YOU RENT A LICENSE TO PLAY. In practice, bungie can discontinue destiny 2 today and you can sit on your complaints.
-
No. You didn’t answer. You just started insulting. Now move along, child.
-
What are your damages?
-
I suppose you could your time is worth $75 an hour or so
-
Edited by zxionisus: 11/5/2018 4:30:14 AMWhose time is worth $75 an hour? Some young teenage gamer? Maybe, but not likely for most. My point is that he could sue if he wanted, but if there are no real damages, then he will be wasting his time and money. Additionally, he may owe Bungie’s attorney’s fees and costs if he loses. There has to be an economic loss.
-
What?
-
Ddos attacks are actually against the law...you can face prison time for these types of things if caught
-
Indeed. Especially if they cause harm to your actual systems. That’s why I was curious if you could sue because Bungie is allowing it.
-
Edited by zxionisus: 11/5/2018 4:44:26 AMYou’re confused though about suing and bringing criminal charges. To sue, you have to have been damaged. The County DA or US AG brings criminal charges.
-
Not confused. Like, at all. I can’t be confused when I’m asking a question.
-
Edited by zxionisus: 11/5/2018 4:47:55 AMYou stated that it would make sense to sue in your original post. Then in context you confuse a potential criminal case with a civil case. I’m simply saying that unless you have sustained personal, economic damages, then you can sue, but it won’t make sense. At all. What will you sue for? A good time? You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
-
What will I sue for? For letting cheaters roam free and not allowing players to present proof to the game’s creators. I wouldn’t be suing for money or anything. I’d sue to have the game company put in effort to either remove cheaters and/or do something to prevent them. Also, I stated my own thought in my original comment. I still ONLY asked a question. Everything after my question is just an opinion and my own thoughts. None of it is based on evidence or facts of anything I’ve read or thought about.
-
Nothing of what you just stated presents a valid, legal cause of action.
-
Edited by Litwicks_Souls: 11/5/2018 4:58:14 AMNever said it did. Now try and comprehend what I’m saying this time. THESE ARE THINGS I WOULD DO IF I COULD. I AM NOT SAYING I CAN AND I AM NOT SAYING IT WOULD WORK. I ASKED A QUESTION. EVERYTHING AFTER THAT QUESTION IS MY OWN OPINION AND THOUGHTS. DO YOU UNDERSTAND??? Now either ONLY answer my question or fück off.
-
Anger problem or just a child? You said it would make sense to sue. I said you were confused. You disagreed and then presented a rambling, nonsensical post about what you would like to sue for. You’re kind of slow, but it’s okay. I’ve taken up too much of your time and energy. I see that now. Take care.
-
Knew you couldn’t comprehend anything I said. Whatever. Peace loser.
-
For some reason I sincerely doubt you could sue over this. Just a hunch.
-
You sir, have a very inept view of who the law works.
-
You sir, used inept poorly. They also only said they were curious.
-
They said that "it would make sense" to sue. When it doesn't at all.
-
Actually he said “it would make since” so that should tell you all you need to know.
-
Anything after my question is irrelevant. Anything after my question is only my opinion and wants/wishes that are based on zero facts. Hope that clears anything up.

Not in that context i suppose, but in the United States DDoS attacks are considered cyber terrorism.
