Tbh we all used the same setups in d2 so what's the difference now, would rather have exotics that give new abilitys like how twilight garrision did in d1

Yeah we wouldn't all be using the same trees if we had more of them or even better, if they weren't pre-built for us. The ability to mix and match our abilities made everything unique, now imagine what we had in D1 plus a few extra columns of perks to switch between. Imagine in D2, being able to use the 3 shooter golden gun with the explosive throwing knife and chain of woe, etc. We have been robbed of any choice and Bungie didn't add anything to the subclasses without first taking away. Now we choose between 2 trees wheras before we could pick the grenade, super perk, general ability perk, etc.

It would have been better if perhaps [i]gasp[/i]... the D2 skill trees would have been bigger and better. Not smaller. That's usually what good sequels do. Build upon what worked in the first one and make [i]more[/i] of it, not less.
