Why do you think the content removal from vanilla had to be reversed? It was because the game was sold with it and not even the pro-corporation laws of the US could cover the removal of content from something that was already sold. This is why Sony and Microsoft were forced to give refunds and came down on Bungie to fix it or remove destiny from sale! Bungie could very well end up with a class action against them. If enough people get angry enough at them it's going to happen and Lawyers like a good old fashioned payout!
