Actually people did want to do Lost Sectors with friends in fireteams for the rep, but hey I hear if you come to the forums and post a bunch of derogatory shit and be as demeaning and ignorant as possible, people will give you likes and clicks and you can feel cool.

I think it was more of only one person in the team got the tokens while shooting the crates that people were complaining about.
-
as if you didn't feed off likes and clicks to fuel your own unwarranted self importance

Hey Einstein, if I was here for likes and popularity, do you think I'd say anything remotely positive about the game or Bungie? All I get for anything positive is stalked, harassed, threatened and demeaned by the lowest common denominator on these forums. If I wanted to sell out I'd just trash Bungie all day long and let the lap dogs eat it up for cheap and easy clicks and likes. Have a nice life :)

Stay true.

Edited by P4RAprosDokian: 11/4/2017 8:11:50 PMThe fact that people do feed off negativity and upvotes should not belittle the actual concerns of the community or the fact that most of Bungies' statements are out of touch with what will actually improve the experience on a larger scale. This fireteam lost sector issue is real, but in the same instance with how they phrased it was a dismissal of the fact that most people don't even enjoy lost sectors because they are lame, and also a condescendingly coy way of reporting that we can no longer superfarm tokens. Fine. But why not just say that instead of saying "youre welcome for fixing that token issue;D" ?Under the rug of this issue is also a slew of other topics that compound the feeling of dismissal for players who actually care to farm, but were punished for it and now thier time is wasted to greater extent than before.

Edited by MacSalad: 11/4/2017 2:02:51 PMSo true. I've even seen posts that compliment the game immediately followed by a disclaimer how that doesn't mean they think the game is perfect nor are they defending Bungie. Whatever happened to the days if you liked a game you liked it and if you didn't that's cool too you just agreed to disagree. Personal insults don't help much. Edit: The point was even if you like certain aspects of destiny you have to be a hater at the same time to keep the hounds at bay.

Edited by P4RAprosDokian: 11/4/2017 8:45:41 PMWell in those good old days, if you liked a game you liked it and if you didn't like it, you returned it to the rental store and didn't actually buy it. Or you played it at a friend's house and paid 40 bucks for it because it was dope. I paid 100+ bucks for this game and the dlc like many did, based on adds, hype, and the previous reputation of the game. I was dissatisfied and the game isn't paid for as is, It's constantly meddled with. Its not the game that was advertised, it's not even the game I played 4 weeks ago.The value of it is always subject to DIRECT change, based off of feedback supposedly, which is almost never confirmed to have been received. This is not a cartridge it's a living system and very sensitive to politics and customer rapor

You do have a point there. I do remember buying games on a cartridge and what was on was on there if it was great or sucked there was no going back to the drawing board. People did rely on word of mouth instead of glitzy ads and stadium presentations. There is this attitude that when a game ships it can still be tinkered with and fine tuned after release. It's like a blessing and a curse. Sure it's great to fix minor issues but shouldn't be used as a crutch to fix broken games. Then the feedback forums are full of different types of players wanting different things. Destiny is trying to be all things to all people. Perhaps Bungie needs to focus on one aspect and do it well rather than trying to combine all these different elements into one coherent and cohesive package. Some people want Destiny to be a competitive PvP game. Some want a more MMO pve centric game. Some want more focus on rpg elements while others are more concerned about weapon balance. Then some just want a good fps solo experience. How the hell are you supposed to do all that. You can't please all of the people all of the time. There will always be someone feeling left out and disgruntled. By the end of ROI they already had a decent and loyal fan base and the game was heading in the right direction. They should have just expanded on what was already there instead of going backwards trying to make everyone happy because that leads to no one being happy. Wow I kinda rambled on there but those are my thoughts.

I feel ya
-
you clearly are here for likes and popularity since you had that sad hissy fit about people downvoting your content. try harder
-
You entered this thread with an immediate attack on your fellow players. Then when you get attacked back you bemoan the treatment you get while continuing the insults... so tell me what sort of reaction would you expect when you insult everyone who is already angry?.. you seem to think you have elevated intelligence. But seem surprised.
-
You really have done a complete 180. You did the same thing for years in D1.
-
Pull up a post where I told Bungie to -blam!- themselves or was derogatory like this. You can't because they don't exist. Yeah I got on them hard at times but I always kept it feedback and tried to actually engage and bring them to the table. This bullshit that exists here isn't feedback, it's petulant, ignorant, childish crap.
-
So what is with the change of heart?
-
I'm on your side as far as treating people at Bungie like people, objectively, because they are, lol. They are vilified as a whole by overly emotional entitled assholes, who's qualms may be justified but thier behavior is downright sadism, for the benefit of thier disordered mind and entitled ego alone
-
You sound bitter man. Possibly cos you no longer have an audience for your overly long self important bungie ass kissing threads?
-
Lol, yeah because this is life :)
