You're misreading it. If you had somebody with you when you destroyed the cargo, only the person that destroyed it got the faction tokens. Now the fireteam can all get the tokens when you open the chest at the end. This is not a lie. It is however not as important as any of the other issues currently in the game. Just the fact that they would spend time on this is mind-numbing.

Who tf farmed the destroyables as a team? Nobody, practically nobody, bungie just fixing something that isn't broken instead of just making it give tokens to everyone no matter who blows up a faction cache
-
My friend and I couldn't farm the lost sector together despite the fact we wanted to play together. One of us was always farming the sector while the other was heroic event farming. It was dumb especially since we like playing together.

They said people find Lost Sectors to be usefull. That‘s a blatant lie. Period.
-
I used lost sectors for high level blue (rare) items in the beginning.
-
It was about Faction Tokens though.

Yeah, but you said them saying they were useful is a lie. I just stay in the rupture on Io for faction tokens. The public event and supply drop public event are back-to-back constantly. I thought lost sectors would be better, but they really are useful for bringing up your power level, until you hit like 260, which isn't ling, but it still helps. By the time I made my titan my other 2 characters were 305, so I put the weapons on my titan used lost sectors to get armor. I hit 300 in about 10 hours of playing time.

Farming the lost sectors, particuarly that one on Io, was the fastest way to get Tokens. I'd have 36 by the time my buddies completed 1 heoric public event. I'd call that pretty useful.

Edited by FL0W: 11/3/2017 11:27:31 PMIt wasn‘t about doing the Lost Sector, just about exploiting the crate respawn. That‘s the point. No one cared to finish the Lost Sector itself.

In that case you're 100% correct.
