Even if it was true, of all the things wrong in the game this is the one thing they addressed. Pathetic.

Well this change probably took someone about 30 minutes to do, it's literally just removing item drops from one object and adding them to the (already present) chest rewards. Software development isn't linear, you don't have the entire team working on each problem one after another until they're all done.
