What’s funny is that Bungie actually released that update article
And guess what, towards the end it CLEARLY states that of the 400 banned, they had to go and REVERSE bans that were INCORRECTLY given out to a “group of players”
Links is here https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/46426
Go towards to the bottom and see the updated section to see where they said they unbanned people who were UNFAIRLY banned
So you were right dude, and Cosmo you were straight up proven wrong by YOUR own article. Bans SHOULD NOT be permanent without a thorough investigation and description to the player in question because clearly your current system is FLAWED.

I never saw even once where cozmo denied that some ppl got banned unfairly. Proven wrong by his own article huh? Some ppl are -blam!-ing idiots.

Edited by Friendship: 10/26/2017 3:12:44 PMUnder no circumstance did anyone ever say people were not getting banned wrongfully. Hence why they publicly stated some people got their bans removed. For those who can read, cozmos statement was regarding specific programs that would not get you banned
-
Its probably those people reading the game files
-
In what world does it make sense that Cozmo was proven wrong because 4 bans were overturned?
-
4 permanent bans were overturned. If you read the article you would see the update where groups of people were ALSO banned, but not permanent ones. Learn to read
-
Its funny you tell me to learn to read but on that same article it says the bans on that group of people had nothing to do with those 3rd party applications, like COZMO said. What else you got?
-
What is your point here? I’m saying that cosmo was proven wrong saying that bans weren’t being unfairly dispensed So those hundreds of OTHER players given INCORRECT bans from Bungie are a glaring case im point that they are giving out bans that are WRONG. Which was the whole point of the OP’s post. There is no disputing that as it’s already been stated by the update that they DID give out multiple bans to people that Didn’t deserve them
