Shadow of War introduces loot boxes that contain loot which can be acquired from killing average enemies giving you no advantage at all in a SINGLEPLAYER game, but everyone loses their minds.
Battlefront 2 is entirely pay to win which gives those that pay for the loot boxes and extreme advantage against those who don't in a MULTIPLAYER game, and no one bats an eye.

Microtransactions don't bother me at all. Battlefield has always been a pay to win (sort of). I mean you could waste money on getting all of the stuff right away BUT I like taking my time and unlocking the gear as I play. I feel that more skill is obtained by using the stuff that isn't as good so you'll be even deadlier when you finally obtain the best stuff.
