This is another point of feedback I am seeing a lot of. I'll make sure the team sees this and knows that you would like to see some RNG in the weapon rolls again.
Personally, I never enjoyed having to level up a gun to unlock its perks. But appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

Ok I see. Seems like it could work.
-
Variable rolls are just a shorter way of saying "we need more weapon diversity" because variable rolls are easy to latch onto. Also, most of the exotic armor feels underwhelming. Such as Hallowfire Heart. It is just a mediocre performance that got removed from sunbreaker and put on Ann exotic armor piece.
-
Brother, please leave the gun system as it is. I don't like leveling weapons. Is a chore. Thanks Bungie.
-
You can do random perk rolls AND no gun leveling.
-
If they decide to go random perks again I am asking for my money back and will never touch another destiny game ever again. I stopped playing D1 because of this.

I mean if you are using the gun anyways what's the big deal plus in destiny one you got so motes thrown at you you could lvl a gun up in seconds
-
I personally like static weapons. I feel like there is enough variety in guns that you can still grind for that favorite gun but with just a little less RNG involved.
-
You don't have to level up the weapon, it could just have random unlocked perks everytime.
-
A lot of people like static weapons too
-
A mixture of both.
-
The team never anticipated this coming? Surely they must have known players would get bored of having the same weapon perks every time
-
They did anticipate it, luke smith commented on it directly he said 'how do we make the seventh, eighth, ninth better devils you receive exciting? Thats a problem we need to resolve pretty quickly.' So they were more than aware it was an issue, right there you have the lead developer stating that it is already a problem, and that was before release. They knew they were making destiny 2:casual edition, for casuals only, and luke smith knew people like me wouldnt like it.
-
You have my support on static rolls. It helps guns be somewhat unique and makes balancing easier on you guys.
-
Static rolls help guns be unique? I don't get it, all the weapon she feel the same, bad way, give for the few ultra-meta guns
-
Compare guns like shock and awe to things like main ingredient and merciless.

Edited by The Real MSG: 9/27/2017 2:08:26 AMAlso can we make it so that the stat mods I.E. resilience or energy weapon reload mods make differences that actually matter, rn the only reason I put mods on stuff is to boost its light by 5, not like light even matters anymore anyways... Oh and instead of having randomly dropped rolls, why don't make it so that the gunsmith can reroll the perks or reroll a certain perk that is specified by the player, that way if someone doesn't like the static roll they could change it to suit them. This might also help with the whole "Meta Multi-Tool situation, as you could just roll for high caliber rounds on every gun, and thus bring in gun diversity...

Edited by Stillnyte: 9/27/2017 2:01:52 AMYou don't HAVE to level the perks. Just add some RNG to the weapon stats and rolls. I miss my 900rpm auto rifles :(
-
Random perks were what the loot in D1 was all about idk what you guys were thinking when you took that away?! You guys seriously need to get organized over there and figure out just what in the hell you want this game to be. You're all paid professionals, no excuse for this laziness. Put the eyes wide shut party on hold for awhile and get some goddamn work done. Evident these devs have no pride in what they do.
-
Just add another mod slot and a little more diversity in mods.
-
Also bring back red hand 9 mini Hawkmoon
-
You'll be selling out every weapon's identity if we go back to that. The system now is much greater than many understand. I actually feel an interest in collecting everything now. Hopefully, the vault will be able to accommodate such.
-
We've collected almost everything in a month, what now?
-
Maybe make some fun out of it? Create loadout Ideas? Find a good purpose for every gun? I plan to do something that actually pleases me, versus playing a slot machine forever.
-
I don't either and like static rolls. I think it comes down to who you want to please. The guy who plays 5 to 8 hours a week or the guy who plays 5 to 8 hours a day
