^this or there's a bug/glitch in play where they just don't drop ammo sometimes

It's easier to complain than accept a cold hard truth or to even have a reasonable understanding of what's going on. Just look at the end boss fight of the raid sometimes the barriers will catch you then you'll slide through it 2 seconds later causing a wipe or psions spawn with the purple grenade stuff in hand and no matter if you hit three clean head shots as they spawn you still get thrown.
