Light didn't matter with the basic leveling system (up to 40). I must have missed the gear only thing... I hope we can at least get plenty of gear in the beta then. Side note: Also, since we can't Patrol... The Strike should still allow curious Guardians to explore the entire map (unless it's segregated). I remember one of the Moon strikes in the Destiny 1 Beta... I was able to find plenty of areas that were not supposed to be accessed.... Heh.
