Disagree. He is very "facts and stats" based. Which is great and a great resource. I'm not discounting that. Nor do I claim to disagree with everything he has to say.
BUT... he is also a little too focused on the endgame crowd and what is the "meta" of the week.
He's a min-max'er that doesn't care about the rest of the game. Just end-game gear and raiding. Something that really only effects 5-10% of the playerbase.

So he talks about the important things.

He focuses on one aspect of the game that only truly effects a small percentage of the playerbase. Yet his core fanbase acts like the franchise will rise or fall based on their subjective opinion of the game. Maybe that's the issue. One too many of his fans take his opinions too seriously and as the gospel.

I believe USplendid is saying that Datto is very good for the people participating in those activities, but he's not the best all around YouTuber because a lot of his content is over the heads of the large portion of the Destiny playerbase that doesn't participate in those activities. It's not an insult. There is no best YouTuber because no one guy gears content to all players in every market.

Exactly.

Good point, he greatly focuses on endgame content and gear. Considering that's what kept me playing for the past 3 years, I really do agree with most of his points and arguments.
