Andromeda is on sale at $30 in the PS store. The only ME game I ever play was 3.
Is it worth the buy or not.

The story is decent but nothing crazy. If you enjoyed the multiplayer in 3 you'll love it in Andromeda. The game came out in bad shape but a ton of patches have made the game much better. Pro tip: engineers are stupidly broken.
-
I like it. You should play 1 and 2 too though.

It got a lot of shit out the gate, but I recommend it fondly. Single player is pretty good and replayable, you'll find things and do things you didn't do last time. They have a pretty good gun creation system and the guns feel pretty balanced at this point. And multiplayer is simple, fairly repetitive but still enjoyable.

I'm loving it ATM.

Multiplayer got a big update. So im very happy with it

Considering my fondness for Bethesda rpgs, along with the fact that I loved the original ME trilogy, I think it's fair to say that I was excited about the game and I am not the sorry who is going to get to worked up over less that stellar graphics, animations, or some bugs. What killed the game for me was just that it felt different. Maybe that changes as you get further in but it just didn't feel like a mass effect game to me and I just couldn't get into it. I am in no way saying it's a bad game but it is definitely not the game I was hoping for.

Yeah I had the same question last month when it was on sale. I got a lot of mixed answers. I picked it up anyway, I definitely didn't regretted. A lot of the issues we're fixed in latter updates. I had a blast playing it. I'm currently on my second playthrough and addicted to the online :)

It's pretty fun. Only complaint is the constant planet jumping for even the smallest tasks.. and Vetra. Her character is dope but she's a shitty companion.

I'm a massive Trilogy fan. 6 full playthroughs. I had extremely high hopes for Andromeda. Pre ordered the first hour it was available lol. I am ashamed to say, I haven't been able to finish it. I get kinda burnt out after less than an hour of playtime each time I try and play. I've got my 2 week vacation from work comin up next month and I've got 5 of those days set aside for pure gaming (had to tell my wife not to expect much from me those days but she's an addicted Sims player so she understands) and hopefully I can just knock it out. I will say this, it's not as bad as so many people say, but not as good as I had hoped.

I personally had a great time playing it. I just wish the multiplayer was better.
-
It's a fun game people just hate on it for the animation problems, gameplay is pretty awesome, story is aight.
-
You'll enjoy it, underrated game in my opinion
-
Its a solid game. The initial reviews were pretty fair but a lot of the complaints people had is now fixed. The only big thing I have an issue with is the occasional game breaking glitch.
-
It's the worst mass effect game out and might have killed the franchise but it's not the worst game ever made I just didn't care much for it

Edited by Hippo_Legacy: 7/17/2017 4:44:38 AMI liked it. It's definitely the weakest of the franchise but I still thought it was fun.
-
Good gameplay, but lousy story and graphics/animations. Your call
-
Nope. I probably wouldn't play it even if it was free TBH
-
For the price it's worth, yeah. I kinda liked it but ultimately returned it :/

Edited by KingOfGames: 7/16/2017 2:14:59 AMI'm not interested in Mass Effect at all, but 1-3 look like great games. Andromeda looks horrible.

Honestly, it's a pretty fun game.
Vetra romance is best romance.
It's 20 at GameStop. Or it was a week ago
-
Why not buy it for $20 on black Friday?
-
I would say definitely, but we can't play multiplayer together. :(
