Xenor is from a fictional raid that I made up called The Axe Of All Ends, the other bosses are The Goliath Thrall and the Thrall Weavers, and Dran'Hul and Ir Valla, Prisoners of War
Backstory and Goal:
Following the downfall of Oryx, and all those we sought to take his place, Xenor, a rouge Thrall executioner has rallied the Thrall with the aim to wipe out any other species that he deems unworthy. the Guardians must board The Taken King's Dreadnaught and enter The Chamber Of Weaving to destroy the Thrall Weavers and eradicate the shield guarding Titan, Saturn's largest Moon. Once on The moon, the Guardians must make their way to the Executioning Grounds and end Xenor and all his fellow Thrall who stand in their way.
Note: I've planned the whole raid but I'm only going to put the Xenor portion in this.
Other Note: Since Xenor is supposed to be a Thrall-only boss, I've taken the liberty of making up a few Different types of Thrall.
Setting:
There are 3 buff plates (same design as the ones from Warpriest) all on each side, one on the left, one on the right, and one on the middle. At each plate, there is also an Alter. The middle plate is on a floating platform that is chained to the other two sides. In front is a gaping chasm and, in the chasm, there are 3 pillars, each pillar has a Hive symbol on it. Enemies spawn from un-enter able doors and from that weird Hive water stuff that Golgoroth spawns from. When Xenor spawns, the 3 Hive symbols glow and shoot a beam into the middle causing him to appear.
Mechanics and How to Win:
Phase 1:
A Thrall Brute (imagine a Knight shaped Thrall), as well as other Thrall, will spawn at each plate's side, kill them and two more will spawn on each side, after they're killed, 3 will spawn on each side. Once all 3 waves of Thrall brutes are dead, a yellow-bar Thrall Brute will spawn on each side, kill all 3 and Xenor will teleport randomly to a plate and slam down with his axe in an instant-kill attack. After Xenor slams on the plate, a Guardian must step on it before he slams again. Xenor will teleport two more times (3 times in total) and, if done correctly, the last person to step on the plate will receive the buff called EXECUTIONER'S RITE.
A Thrall Major will spawn at the back and go to one of the Alters to sacrifice. Only the Guardian with EXECUTIONER'S RITE can damage the Thrall Major. If the Thrall Major sacrifices then a message will pop up saying: Your Rite Of Passage Is Destroyed, removing the buff EXECUTIONER'S RITE and everyone's super energy, eventually killing you all.
If the Thrall Major is stopped, however, then the Alter it was going to will glow, a Guardian must stand on the coorosponding plate and another Alter will glow. Repeat that part until all three Alters are glowing, with a Guardian on each plate (if you step on the plates out of order, it's game over), once that is done, the last Guardian to stand on the plate will receive GROWING LIGHT, whoever has this buff must run to each Alter and draw its power, charging the buff until they get all 3. Once they get all 3, then GROWING LIGHT will change to WRATH OF LIGHT. With this buff, you gain the ability to throw a ball of light at Xenor, removing 1/3 of his shield.
Repeat until his shield is completely gone. Once his shield is gone, a Tomb ship will come from the far left, between the left pillar and the left side plate, and stop underneath Xenor, he will fall down onto it (so you can damage him with melee weapons like swords)
After his shield regenerates, Xenor will fly back up and the tomb ship will leave. Repeat this process until either 4 damage phases pass and his health isn't gone, or until Xenor's health is completely gone. If Xenor's health isn't depleted, then he will instantly kill your whole fireteam. If his health is depleted, though, then he will fly into the air and slowly turn to stone (in the shape of a Monolith from the Warpriest battle), loot will drop, and 3 relics will appear, one on each plate. A Hive Axe, a Hive Sword, and a Hive Boomer.
Checkpoint
Phase 2:
Once all 3 relics are picked up, the encounter will start. The stone covering Xenor will fall off and he will fly around again like in phase 1. A special Thrall Major will spawn on each side, a SwordBreaker (can only be dame get with the sword relic), an AxeBreaker (can only be damaged with the axe relic) and a BoomerBreaker (can only be damaged with the boomer relic) (if any one of these reach an Alter, then they will destroy the respective relic (SwordBreaker destroys sword relic) making you have to wipe. Once all 3 are killed, Xenor will teleport to plates randomly, slamming with his axe, as before, a Guardian must stand on the plate before Xenor slams again, but this time, Xenor keeps slamming even past 3 times. While Cenor is slamming, the 3 Guardians with the relics are running around killing their coorosponding Special Thrall Major (SwordBreaker, etc.) and once one is killed on a side, another random one will spawn on the side. There are 3 waves of this. Once all 3 waves are dead, Xenor will stop slamming and teleport above the giant gaping chasm again. Once he teleports above the chasm again, it will say: Xenor Focuses His Rage, killing anyone outside of the BARRIER OF LIGHT (unless they have a relic or the Brand).
Everyone must go to one side (it doesn't matter which side, as long as it's only 1 side) (the first person to step on that side's plate will receive BRAND OF RETALIATION x0 (10 SEC.)). The timer will count down and you will die if it reaches 0, but, before it reaches 0, the Guardian with the Brand has to kill any enemy to reset it. Once they receive BRAND OF RETALIATION, a barrier of light will go up around that plate, giving anyone inside it the buff BARRIER OF LIGHT. A SwordBreaker, AxeBreaker, and BoomerBreaker will spawn, kill them to charge the relics, once their relic is charged, the relic bearer will use the charge to charge an Alter, once they charge it, they can go back into the barrier of light (the relic bearers all have to charge a different Alter). now, the Guardian with the brand has to run to all 3 Alters, collecting their power as they go. The Branded Guardian will notice that, with the Brand, their super energy is completely removed and does not charge, that is because drawing power from each Alter charges the super, each Alter charges it by a third. Once the super is fully charged, they must run back into the barrier of light and unleash their super on Xenor (the super will not be their normal super, it will be the Brand's super, which shoots a ball of light, similar to WRATH OF LIGHT from phase 1). When Xenor is hit with the ball, a message will say: Xenor's Barrier Is Weakened. When you unleash the Brand's super, you will lose the Brand. A message will pop up saying: Xenor Banishes You, teleporting 4 of you to the Oversoul Throne, where you have to kill Brantrall, The Consumer (when Xenor teleports, or, 'banishes' you, you will be unable to regenerate health). While these 4 Guardians focus on killing the mini boss, the two that weren't 'banished' will be tasked with killing all enemies and not letting a single Blessed Thrall sacrifice to an alter (they're normal Thrall but with yellow health), if just one of them reach an Alter, a message will say: The Weak Are Eradicated, killing your whole fireteam. After killing Brantrall, a message will say: You Have Redeemed Yourselves, teleporting the 4 of you onto 4 different tomb ships (the second time Xenor teleports you, he will 'banish' you to The Threshold, where you have to kill Trodon, The Devourer. The third time he 'banishes' you, you will be teleported to The Basilica, where you fight Vel'Raur, The Ravenous)(Note: you only have to kill one of these mini bosses each damage phase, so a total of 3). The 4 tomb ships will fly directly back to the battle zone and hit into Xenor (a floating platform will appear and Xenor will fall onto it so you can attack him) causing a message to say: Xenor's Barrier Is Destroyed, and his shield will disappear so he can take damage.
Once the damage phase ends, a message will say: Xenor's Runes Recreate His Barrier, he will regain his shield and a Hive symbol will stop glowing. Repeat this until either Xenor is dead, or all 3 runes fade and Xenor isn't dead, if the latter happens, then a message will say: The Weak Are Eradicated, killing your whole fireteam.
But if Xenor is killed, then a boss chest will appear and loot will drop.
Hard Mode Differences:
Phase 1:
During the beginning, when the waves of Thrall Brutes are spawning, the Thrall Brutes are replaced with yellow-bar Thrall Brutes and at the end of the waves, the yellow-bar Thrall Brutes are replaced with a SwordBreaker, an AxeBreaker, and a BoomerBreaker. Xenor will teleport faster, and instead of slamming 3 times with his axe, he slams 9 times. Instead of only 1 Thrall Major that attempts to sacrifice, there will be 3, and there will also be 3 Guardians with WRATH OF LIGHT and Xenor will take 9 hits for his shield to break.
Phase 2:
Xenor will teleport faster and BRAND OF RETALIATION will only last 5 seconds.
Xenor Challenge:
In phase 1, 3 Guardians must obtain WRATH OF LIGHT before throwing the orb at Xenor, and all 3 have to throw the orb at Xenor at relatively the same time to destroy his shield.
In phase 2, instead of the relic holders charging all 3 alters, they all charge the same one, once one Alter has all 3 relic's power, a set of Breakers will spawn, kill them to charge the relics, charge another Alter, repeat to charge the third one, then the Branded Guardian can draw their power.
