This chapter is a crossover with KSeth27, where his character from Blank Slate (Keis-51) makes an appearance. My story takes place in another timeline, so whatever happens in it does not affect KSeth27's story.

"Come on man! We can get you to the tower. You will be safe there!" I said.
Keis stood up and looked at me.
"I'm sorry. But there is no safe place for me. Lysander has little use for guardians without ghosts. If I go back to the tower I would be killed. And, I need Blanc. She has been my friend throughout all of it. Through the Faction Wars, the battle of Burning Lake, and finally this battle. I might as well go out fighting." and with that he leaped over the wall and coasted down using his glide ability.
He threw his Nova Bomb into the Fallen decimating their ranks. He began killing Fallen left and right with a scout rifle, using his energy drain when needed. That was when I saw the Spider Tank aim it's cannon directly at Keis. I yelled, "Keis, look out!"
But it was too late. The tank fired and Keis was incinerated in the blast. I stared in horror. Then the tank shifted its aim to me. As it began charging up for the shot I whipped out my sniper rifle and took aim directly at the hole where the rocket would come flying out of. I waited. The timing had to be just right. I fired and a split second later the tank fired as well. The bullet hit the rocket just as it was about to leave the tube. The resulting explosion destroyed half the tank and any fallen within ten feet.
TWO DAYS LATER.
The battle of Twilight Gap. That's what they were calling it. It seemed fitting. That had been where the biggest part of the battle had taken place. I was searching the wall now looking for any dead guardians so we could tally our losses. I saw one guardian ahead on the ground. I walked over and scratched another mark on my list. Suddenly, the dead hunter coughed. Sparks flew from a hole in his mechanical chest. I knelt down and said, "Where is your ghost?"
He nodded to his right where the pieces of his ghost lay.
"I'm sorry." I said. "I will tell them you died with honor."
"I don't care. The hunter coughed. "S'long as its a good story."
"I'll make it a very good story." I promised.
