Deep in the rocky cliff of the Venetian volcano, a summit of Fallen was being held. A captain named Rixhell walked around, holding his arms behind his back, as he monlogued. "Avilon is no Eliksni. I have overheard he and our true Kell talking once. They speak Human! Avilon wields the gift of the Great Machine, but he is not the Kell of prophesy! He is not even Eliksni! He may look like us, but it is trickery! Our Kell, the true Kell of Thieves, is Aviksis. We were a proud House with him. If we continue to let this 'machine-god' rule, the House will fall to ruin! It will be left in turmoil,"
The dregs and vandals in the cave nodded their heads and mumbled their thoughts. Several cheered with Rixhell. "Avilon plans to attack the House of Devils! We are no match with them and their SIVA!"
"The false Eliksni is arrogant and will kill us all!" Shouted a random vandal in the crowd.
"What can we do?" Asked a dreg.
"We can let Avilon's followers die, then restart the House with Aviksis," A vandal suggested.
"No! That would easily cost us two thirds of the House," Rixhell pondered on what to do. "Avilon is the true threat, so, if the rest of the House sees that, then they will reunite with us,"
"They will not see that if they are all dead!" A dreg shouted.
"So, we keep them from leaving..." Rixhell replied.
"How?" A vandal asked. The captain thought.
"Our Prime was directly linked to the ketch's life support system. Terabiks was this House's Prime, but he kept the ketch breathing directly... Without him, we're all going to die!" Keirvik shouted.
"No, you're wrong, Keirvik! I ran a system scan, he was still linked!" Avilon shouted back. The exo looked to the servitor that slowly swiveled in its socket, as if it was sick and dying.
"Well, he is not now..." The archon growled.
Avilon snarled. "Stand aside," he ordered. Keirvik, and every other Fallen, stepped back as the Guardian approached the machine. Avilon stuck his hand through an exposed plate, and soon he was in the mind of the machine.
"I told you, Avilon... I. Run. The House!" The servitor said.
"You sabotaged yourself?" Avilon asked with curiosity.
"I sabotaged you. You and I will survive, but everyone else will die. All due to your arrogant actions... your House will fall, and the survivors will once again rally with the true leadership," Terabiks laughed in his cyber realm.
"I like you," Avilon said admiringly. This servitor thought this plan through. "Unfortunately, you have to die now. I wanted to let you live, you could've helped me greatly, but you are too intelligent for your own good. I'm sorry, buddy, but I'm ripping your mind right out of you!" Avilon 'yelled'.
Avilon pulled his hand out of the machine and looked at the Eliksni around him. "It should be working fine, now..." he said. The servitor began pumping ether through the ship just as intended. The ball was nothing more than a gas pump, rather than a servitor.
"What... did you do?" Keirvik asked suspiciously as he looked over the machine.
Avilon formed a devilish smile with his metal lips. "I removed some... bugs in his programming," he answered. Avilon turned to the rest of the crew. "All right, everyone! Get this ship ready to move!" He ordered.
Keirvik watched as his brethren ran around like headless dregs, but he grew ever more disgusted with Avilon. In the chaos of the crew, the Archon slipped out of the bridge and rushed for the escape pods.
"My Kell, the engines will not ignite. A section of the coolant has ruptured..." A vandal said after running up to Avilon.
The exo rolled his eyes. "Let me guess, the only engineer is in the den..."
"The only engineer is in the den..." the vandal confirmed.
"Prepare my skiff!" Avilon ordered before storming out of the skiff.
"Pod six-five-six ejected!" several computers screamed as they flashed and highlighted the pod that left the ketch.
"Who was on that pod?!" Avilon shouted.
"We don't know, my Kell!" A dreg answered.
Keirvik's escape pod crashed just east of the Thieve's Den. He quickly sprinted to the caves, but it wasn't long before other Fallen surrounded him. "Identify!" Shouted a captain.
"I am Keirvik; I was Archon of Terabiks Prime, but Avilon has... corrupted him," the fully grown Eliksni answered.
"Our prime servitor has been corrupted? First, Aviksis and now Terabiks?! Avilon is making himself the Prime Kell!" Rixhell growled angrily.
"He is a machine-god. Not even Aksis can compare... Now, he wants to attack the Devils," Keirvik added.
"We're not going to let him," Rixhell said with a sly smile.
"How do you mean?" Keirvik asked. The captain waved his hands, signaling to the Archon that he should follow.
