Variks sat in his chamber as he loudly inhaled Ether through his mask. He stared diligently at the screens, monitoring BraveCole as he entered the airlock.
The door to Variks' chamber opened, and it was revealed to be Prince Uldren, who came in with a condescending demeanor, with a sadistic smirk on his face. He spoke to the Warden.
"So.. How loud were his screams?" Uldren chuckled mischievously.
Variks breathed deep, and snarled. "Depends on who's screams you are referring to, my princeeeee.."
Uldren's smirk instantly vanished into a confused frown. "What? The guardian, you fool! Is he not.." Uldren walked over to the monitors and saw BraveCole standing in the airlock. The titan looked up at the monitors and nonchalantly flipped it off.
"How is he not dead!? He had no weapons!" Uldren fussed.
"The guardiann is very... Resourcefuuuuul...." Variks hissed. "No matter. He faces next round..."
BraveCole stood awaiting in the airlock, anxious for Variks' call. The doors in front of him opened up, and there stood the Warden servitor.
"You face the lost.. Disgraced.. Fallen.
"Yes!" BraveCole fist pumped. "Er, I mean, -blam!-! Not the fallen! Noooo!"
"Fight. Win.. Liiiiiiivee.."
The warden servitor then disappeared, allowing for BraveCole to enter the wide, arena like chamber of the Fallen.
"Let's just hope this works the way I want it to in my head. Becky?" BraveCole questioned.
"Yes, love?" She chimed back, once again through the coms in Brave's helmet.
"You've downloaded the layout of the reef into your data banks, right?"
"Correct. The awoken practically have no idea, it's quite funny actually. They think I'm helpless!" She laughed.
"That was the goal. When I give the signal, come to my position and transmat me to wherever they hold records."
"Sector 7?" Becky questioned.
"If that's what you came up with then yeah. Alright, go time." BraveCole walked out into the Fallen arena, where Variks voice boomed out once more.
"You face Beraxis! Warlord of Winteeerrrrrr..."
From the middle, the cell opened up and out stomped a massive Fallen captain. He roared and laughed, excited to dismember a guardian.
BraveCole, unafraid, walked toward the huge captain and did the unexpected.
"[Greetings!]" Brave said, speaking in Eliksni. "[I would like to ha-] ugh!" BraveCole coughed. "Talking in fallen really hurts my throat. Okay, ahem. [I would like to have a word with you, Beraxis.]"
Beraxis leaned in closer to the Titan. "[The only words you will have is begging me to kill you quickly, despicable guardian..]" Beraxis spat.
"[And then what? After you kill me, you gonna get ushered back into your cell by that puny vandal up top? Where you wait in darkness until he says it's time to come back out and play?]"
Beraxis growled, but stayed quiet to listen. Multiple other fallen, ranging from a Dregs, vandals, and even a few captains, stepped out to listen to the guardian. BraveCole turned around to address them all.
"[Where has all of your pride gone? Do you like being used as instruments of amusement for the ones who imprisoned you? That is a fate worse than death. And to top it all off, the one who has you used for a humiliating trial by fire is one of your own! Another Eliksni!"]
The Fallen all looked at each other; the guardian was right.
"[But I am here to tell you that this is not your fate. You may be called Fallen, but you are much more than that! You are not bloodthirsty hounds who kill when told to! You fight when you are put in situations like these! The awoken are the real enemy!]"
Chatter began amongst the Fallen. They were interested.
Back in Variks chamber, Uldren stared at the monitors, confused. "Why aren't they tearing him apart!? What is he saying to them!?"
Variks said nothing back. He simply listened some more.
"[Unfortunately, for the awoken, they have an entire army right here, beneath their feet. An army, that if banded together, could make the reef theirs! A new base of operations for House of Winter would be formed..]" BraveCole looked back at Beraxis. "[And you, Beraxis.. Would be Kell.]"
BraveCole turned back to the crowd and gave a triumphant shout. "[Now! My Fallen brothers! WHO! WILL! STAND! WITH ME!?]"
Every Fallen in the arena shouted with BraveCole, much to Uldren's dismay.
"They're shouting! What is he up to!?"
Variks gave a chuckle. "Have convinced Fallen to start Rebellion against the Reef. Banding together..." Variks said. "The guardiannnn.. Clever, clever, creatureeee.."
In that moment, an awoken guard came in to alert Uldren. "My prince! Multiple breaches in the prison! Orders, sir?"
Uldren snarled. "Kill them!"
"The guardian?" She asked.
"ALL OF THEM!!"
Back in the prison, where the Fallen were rallying, several Ceres jumpships came in from the far side and immediately began opening fire, ranging from machine gun fire and rockets.
The Fallen, heavily outmatched, tried their best to fight back, but alas, bodies were ripped apart left and right around BraveCole.
"Shitshitshit!" BraveCole screamed. "Becky!? Beckyyyyyyy! If you haven't guessed, this is the signal!" He said, as he was barely out running gun fire.
"Right, coming dear," She answered, appearing by his side for a split second, and then transmatting him out of harm's way into an entirely different area of The Reef.
"Oh my -blam!-.. Holy.." Brave breathed. "Thanks for the save, Becky. Is this Sector 7?"
"Yes, darling. I also picked up this, as you requested." Becky's lense flashed, and a giant chunk of Royal Amethyst appeared on the floor.
"Nice. Thanks."
"Question. Why exactly do you need that?"
"If I left here and the awoken asked what I stole, and I replied with 'nothing', they'd never believe me. So, I'm stealing something. And when they come looking for me, I'll kindly give it back. This should be the first thing they make sure isn't gone, but I'm here for something different." BraveCole said.
He entered a large, quiet room that lit up with a staggering amount of monitors. "The awoken probably have their hands full with those fallen, so we should have some quiet time. For a moment."
BraveCole walked up to the main monitor, and immediately began typing away.
