They're a game design company. Any company worth respect in it's field doesn't crowd source product design. Why does every gamer think they're a special snowflake that knows what's best for a half billion dollar product which isn't their creation? Without any hard data sets?
You want to really influence game or product design, then join the mass of professionals getting paid for it in their field. Game design isn't some novel paradigm which exclusively benefits from implementing hordes of suggestions from the masses.
People think they're so clever and have all the right answers in a field they likely have never worked in. It's not easy creating massive scope, followup sequels and maintaining balance all while still providing fun.
The reason there aren't any other games like Destiny is because the project Bungie has undertaken is challenging as heck and few developers are capable. Yet, people ignore the foundations and continue sounding like airheads that have all the answers for managing a 10 year IP with under 1000 staff.

CoD has more balance then Destiny. Battlefield has more balance then Destiny. Hell, even Halo has more balance then Destiny. Bungie just doesn't know what to do. They're incompetent.

Wow, games with preset loadouts have more balance than Destiny? That's deep, foundational knowledge you got there. I also think street fighter felt more tightly balanced than WoW pvp, you think that might be related? Exponentially increased gun variability does certain things to balance parameters. You personify everything about my post.

What? Lol, CoD and Battlefield don't have preset load outs. The hell you smoking?

Edited by High8ctane: 3/25/2017 10:19:57 PMSorry, not being able to run a sniper and autorifle together like your CoD example is actually worse than a preset loadout. Forget subclasses, heavy, artifacts and exotic perks. What part of exponentially greater do you not understand? Please go bye bye.
