Yeppity yep yep! People who were late comers to this game had no idea what they were missing. This game could have been amazing and when I think about what we've lost it makes me sad. We lost so much and now Destiny feels hollow, empty, without purpose, without a soul. They've stripped the game down to bare bones to cater to the other side, pvp and Trials, but its backfired on them because now the pvp is worse off. Why? They drove the casuals away. They drove dedicated players away. That's all a community consists of is casuals and dedicated and new players. They drove 2/3rds away. The fact people continue to act snotty towards lower skilled players just shows how naive and ignorant they are. Elitism kills games. You can't have a game like Destiny and not have a player-base to support it. I'm kind of in fear that no matter how much hype they give D2, players won't return, and there aren't many new gamers left to acquire out there. I fear the road will be short for Destiny. Shorter than 10 years. If there isn't a strong player-base, then D2 will be an utter failure before it's even released. I'm guessing this is what Activision wants so they can take over Bungie? Bungie can't blame anyone but themselves. Activision has reached out and gave them help to create D2, but if Bungie can't maintain D2 after the extra studios leave, they will be in for a bad surprise later on down the road. There will be a lot of "cleaning house" if you know what I mean.
