This is still only and opinion. None of the s is factual. Destiny was never ruined or ever a bad game. All you people think this game is life. There are other games out there. It's okay to say you're putting down a game because you're bored of it or tired of playing it. In fact with every dlc the game got better and better. The final package is actually amazing. You and your friends perspectives are what have been ruined. Destiny is great you just need to understand that 1 video game will not always quench your hunger for fresh content. Play other games and then come back when you're ready. It's not a bad thing lol it's totally normal.

I love Destiny and have been playing since beta. They have made vast improvements to systems within the game but most definitely made endgame worse. Endgame year one was also why Y1 got such bad reviews. A lot of the fan base focused on the story and typical FPS aspects of the game, which the game fell pretty short at. Endgame and the grind was what made so many memorable moments for those that played Y1. The changes they made have made the endgame almost unrecognizable from Y1. It wasn't perfect but I think there is a happy compromise that keeps the feel of Y1 endgame without being overly grindy which is the main complaint. The toxicity comes from the atmosphere of criticism. Yes you can critique without being an asshole, seems like there are so many jerks that just say it sucks and then there are kiss ups that just say it's prefect.

See I also played since year 1 and yeah the core game had problems but I don't personally think the endgame was bad at all. It was definitely tough and challenging to say the least but that made me more determined to get to max level. Once I hit max level that where the game was lacking but now raids are excellent and provide plenty of challenge and replay ability and fun. They made raid much better actually and the game has evolved to be much better than year 1. That's reason enough to love destiny and believe that this game is actually great and has not been ruined at all. It's just everyone's negative perspective. The game is fun, it's not a master piece and it certainly does not need to be so I think people need to stop criticizing it like it should be perfect.

Agreed. Much of these want is either not possible - that sense of wonder and awe as they experience the game. Or loads of content to relevant with good loot. They're getting most of what they want on Tues. Only thing missing is a fun Crucible experience.

Yeah I'm really hoping they focus on crucible more seriously in destiny 2. I love PVP but I could never get consistently invested into destiny's crucible. Connection issues, balance are the main problems. I love the game modes and I loved the maps, just need that 60fps and dedicated servers and a better balancing act lol. I know that's a lot to ask for though but it would be amazing!

This is so true, reading through these posts and so many people are just like "I miss when this game was new and exciting!" And its just like what do you expect? The game is almost 3 years old, of course its going to lose its luster after so long. Y1 was very, very flawed. You could basically complete every encounter of VoG and CE by cheesing it. Vex Mythoclast was way too OP. Remember getting one shotted by Final Round snipers? This game has come a long way and has made many improvements and I think people are being blinded by feelings of when the game was brand new and not realizing how much better this game has become. Though I am not a fan of the current state of special ammo...

Couldn't agree more lol
