Maybe.... Maybe not. They made the change based on suspect play by devs that couldn't even find the tree in banner fall.
They also changed based on what they think will be an issue once shotguns get neutered. And if it isn't an issue and blades don't continue to be a viable option then they just ruined the experience for their community. And how long will it be before they realize the mistake they made and change it back?
All of this is speculation, but if they were worried about blade being OP with the change to shotguns, then why didn't they think that jug/skating/matador wasn't going to be a problem when rise was released and they nerfed shoulder charge?
Also I missed the cries to nerf bladedancers on these forums.

Well there are two trees in bannerfall. Seeing people post comments like that are hurting themselves more than they are to those they target. Lol.

Huh??? Yes there is 2 trees, but there is "the tree", which should be the one that first comes to mind. They even show it when your loading in.

Well that's jargon by that point lol. Jargon isn't some universal thing. That's where this misunderstanding is coming from. Especially when they are devs, and they likely have their own jargon. I understand believe me, but I say outside tree and inside tree because I know that "tree" isn't universally understood as a certain one among players. Like how my friends use party room for a room that is exclusively orange. I say orange room cause I'm not a tard and actually like effective communication.
