A shotgun-melee would result in a trade most the time. The key was to get grenade damage first and then shotgun. You kill them without the trade. I don't think shotguns were nerfed enough to change that. I guess we will see next week.

  • Bladedancers still move too quickly for most grenades to damage them before they regen health after a kill. The only good backup grenade would be to throw a solar grenade at your own feet and try jumping around inside the aoe.

    I don't think so. Lots of grenades are easy to use to deal damage against a fast moving target. Skips, arcbolt/firebolt, incendiary, axiom bolts, etc. Most bladedancers spam the blade to move towards you...but they always move towards you. A good bladedancer will use jumps and cover and alternate routes to avoid taking damage en route to getting a kill...but most just spam melee and b-line straight towards you.
