1). This isn't completely confirmable as a nerf; in the right situations, I can see the instant health gain being better than the regen over time. Mainly because it can't be countered or interrupted. 2).Those same trade supers aren't anti-blade, they are anti-everything. You could have Radiant Skin with a rocket launcher as Super Saiyin 5 and still get Fisted or Space Magic'd; that is the purpose of those supers, to say no-no-no. 3). Blink doesn't need a nerf, but people are using Bones jumping because it's more functional and utilitarian in more situations. It's more evasive, more aggressive, more versatile, and generally more useful. Ophidian Aspects are likely to blame for the blink-hate, due to the quickdraw capabilities it grants. Still not sure why they did this one though... 4). Blink aside, do yourself a favor and feel out the changes before you condemn them. I had the same initial reaction, and then I thought about the mechanics of it; I can see this as a conversion of regen, rather than a nerf. better in some situations, worse in others, but there have been time I have wished the regen functioned exactly like this, and not how it currently does. I'm not telling you that you're wrong and I'm right, but encouraging you to do your own testing before you get too upset about it. It might surprise you, who knows? 5.) What can I say about this...I feel like the teams of people that make these calls are a step too removed from the big, wide world. I am often quoted as saying Trials occurs in a bubble; the balancing team looks to be similar. After watching that match on stream, the first thing I said was 'WTF, that is not how a PvP match looks!'. It drove home that the team in charge of the ship is working in a vacuum, and making changes based on confirmation bias and the internal echo chamber. I think we need to see a pool of players, from 1000-10000, allowed to access the Dev sandbox environment on a limited capacity. They'd be given a list of the current changes in place, test accounts that have specific loadouts available / the ability to generate items in a gear manager type screen, and instructions to play certain things and report. That feedback should be a major part of the conversation as to how to proceed. Is Bungie taking things a step too far? No...well, not according to their testing environment experience. But that isn't the big wide world, and I really think they need to venture a little further out into it if they want their balancing patches to work better for the community.

  • You're a closed minded person not capable of thinking critically. Stay salty and when a blade comes at you and you dont have shotgun ammo think of me:):)

  • I agree. Just two things though. First i and anyone who knows how blink and blade functions currently knows its going to be even worse without having to try it out. Don't sugar code it its a nerf and we all know it. The last thing is I personally am not happy with the regen nerf but I said it was the only nerf that actually made any sense.
