So I, have been thinking over, a true, competitive update for Destiny 2, that would make a Mode in crucible actually E-Sport compatible. [u][i][b]Revision 1[/b][/i][/u] : When you go to Crucible, there would be a mode simply called "Ranked Play". In RP you would only fight in battles with people in your rank. Each rank would be harder and harder to achieve, with rank 10 being the hardest and highest. For arguments' sake, Rank 10 would, on average, be home to people who have a 4.0 lifetime KD or higher. Serious business. [u][i][b]Revision 2[/b][/i][/u] : When choosing a class, every single person would have a default balance upon selection. Meaning that every Bladedancer has the same set up as another Bladedancer. Every Sunbreaker has the same setup as another Sunbreaker. - - This also rings true for armor. Each class and subclass will have a pre-set, balanced set-up which compliments that class, and subclass. [u][i][b]Revision 3[/b][/i][/u] : All weapons will be the same across all players. Every player will have the same balanced shotgun and sniper (if they so choose that item). Every player will have the same handcannon or scout rifle (if so chosen). Once selected, their load-out will not, and cannot change during the entire round of play. [u][i][b]Final Revision[/b][/i][/u] : Ranked Play will be hosted on dedicated servers. If, for any reason at all, your connection some-how violates the sanctity of play, you are immediately kicked out of the game, no exceptions whatsoever. If it is noted you were in foul play, you are banned for a month. Repeat offenders have their entire account and IP stripped from the Bungie API. - - - This is just a fresh idea, a starting point, but I believe this would bring out the best in this community, really show people what's up, and make true competitive play (and possibly Destiny an E-Sport) a possibility.
