Just my 2 cents on your feed back,so regarding 390-400 light being difficult ... It's not if you were "smart", what I did was ran the raid on one character transferred all the gear to other characters and rinse and repeat. After 3 raids I was 395ish(I did the raid at 390) I used skeleton keys to get any gear that wasn't chest or legs. For chest and legs I used exotics, for weapons I literally just fooled around in crucible for loot. Ghost and artifacts I did archons forge and skeletons keys. I literally hit 400 the first week of hard mode drop. Once your 400 on one character every exotic you open is 400. Now regarding the light cap on reputation packages I feel like it only affects the casual player base because literally the day roi dropped I was 385 my friend was 387 why ? Because we prepared. Packages literally alone got me to max light (at the time) that's boring ... And honestly ruined the game. Now that hard modes out and bungo released so many different ways to get max level why would you want to just farm packages ? Go play crucible (for fun) go play archons forge go do strikes for exotic engrams or skeleton keys, go play the raid challenge mode just dropped there are so many options you just have to play. And remember there's a difference in just playing the game and playing the game smart, many of you might have over 1000 hours and not be 400 because your not playing smart. Abuse the loot system!!
