They need to fix the rate at which you find other players. No doubt.
But there are also ways where one can maximize their odds of finding other players.....
...and demanding that Bungie basically redesign how the AF works, in order to reduce the penalty for dying....isn't a reasonable request.

He's not asking for AF to be completely redesigned. Don't exaggerate a point to make it work for your argument.

He's asking for the one of the conditions essential to the furndamental risk-reward relationship between the content and the rewards it hands out..... ...to be dumbed down. So that there is basically no chance of a wipe if he dies. IOW, he's asking for an exception to the conditions under which EVERYONE ELSE plays this content. IF everyone on the team dies....its over. Which means----if you're going to go solo---if you die...youre done.
