Unlike the grasp of malok and pretty much every other pulse rifle. Almost every other pulse rifle you can either have stability or high caliber rounds but not both. Having high caliber rounds and maximum stability at that rate of fire makes the gun almost unbeatable.
That archetype of pulse rifles has no down fall as it is, there's hardly any damage drop off, it's good at ALL ranges. It can beat scout rifles at long range.
No, I'm not asking for a nerf, I want primaries buffed badly!

It's raining clever dragons in pvp.
-
I'm dreading the day this weapon is available from the iron banner vendor. I'm pretty sure it will become just about the only gun anyone uses. The hcr 's with a good stability roll are just ridiculous imo.
-
I think I got pretty lucky with my roll. Braced frame, with high caliber rounds and feeding frenzy.
-
Nothing stops Blind Perdition with a serious roll. Period. Full auto Hawksaw with huge stability perks, maybe. The flinch is too much.
-
Yr 2 Villany says other wise.

Sadly i didnt get my hand on one ;( but i finally got my hands on a grasp with counterbalance, perfect balance and spray and play was just wondering if its a good roll or not? :O

Edited by MikeNorCal: 10/17/2016 4:58:34 AMOne of the things that makes this game a pleasure is the idea of uniqueness. If people put in the work, they should be able to get rewarded with the chance to have a gun that gives them a competitive advantage. If all guns were exactly even and similar, it would take the fun out of the game. yes, rng is random but on average the ones who get the rolls generally put time and energy in and should be able to reap the rewards. I think the harder a gun is to get, eg. vex mythoclast, grasp of malok, the more of an advantage it should offer. The idea of scarcity in loot was one of the amazing draws of wow. Similarly, I believe is the spice of destiny and what keeps me playing. I'm really happy with the new guns in the meta and I continue to put in effort for that next unique and amazing roll! I hope that these unique qualities are preserved. keep the guns in play!

I can outgun a clever dragon 80% of the time with a Grim Citizen III.
-
Trials pulse is the way to go man
-
I have two one with braced frame the other hand laid stock and both have high caliber rounds glass half full with one and hidden hand on the other I don't know which one is better should I use glass half full with braced frame or feeding frenzy?
-
nerf the fast rate of fire pulse rifles. On my grasp i have counterbalance, high cal rounds, and feeding frenzy and i beat the trials pulse rifle almost always.
-
The only thing I hate about this gun is the RNG element in getting it. Why should one player be able to enjoy it and get some in a million roll while others can't even get the gun. No more special snow flakes << if one can get - all should get. That way everyone can play on a level field. The waltz can't even get braces frame / hand laid stock so adding another meta WEAPON that heavily relies on RNG is fcking stupid
-
It doesn't even matter. That AT and Hawksaw AT have been broken for awhile. Tell me, if the two weakest pulses also kill in 3 bursts, like the middling and highest impacts, but do it much faster, why do the other two types even exist? The answer is clear here: severely cut the hrofs range and reduce their damage to require 4 - 5 bursts to the head.
-
Stable? Yes. People can still compensate for recoil and with those rolls it most likely have butt range. Meaning I can simply gun you from far out. Handcannon users can still fight it at mid range and that thing stands no chance against Jade Rabbit type scouts from deep. It's just a good weapon. It's easily counter able though.

Edited by Tzoedn: 10/13/2016 8:25:10 PMIt makes me sad that the clever dragon will single handedly nerf pulse rifles into the ground. These high rate of fire pulse rifles used to be either irrelevant year one raid weapons, or very hard to get. Now between the waltz and clever dragon everyone has got one in the crucible Edit: but I'm still going to use mine constantly until that happens ;)

Check my warlock bruh...
-
If you use that gun you have absolutely no skill
-
I got counter balance/ injection mould, high calibre and range finder LOVE IT
-
Yeah so you made a post to complain that you can't do enough damage? Why? You shouldn't need a buff for a type of weapon that already does really good.
-
Simple counter to the grasp archetype is max armor(titan/warlock), becomes 4 burst instead of 3 your welcome.
-
Edited by Scorpius XX1: 10/15/2016 12:49:38 AMAnd yet what is usually the inevitable fallout from post like these? You don't want a nerf and yet you draw attention to that exact possibility because you can't, like so many others, just play the game. If players didn't have access to it this previous Iron Banner, they will in the next. That weapon and it's possible rolls will be available to all. Secondly, it can be beat. Despite most rolls having sound stability options, the pattern can be difficult to control. Stop feeding nerfers with posts that accomplish nothing but feeding nerfers.
-
Argh- I got perf balance, counterbalance.....but armor piercing rounds. So close......
-
The Clever Dragon archetype needs a huge range nerf.
-
you mean my primary?

One change to that
unbent tree
I think it's more a matter of you think it's the best weapon. Different guns work well for different players. For instance, I love the SUROS Regime, and I run it with focus fire. I wreck people on the regular with that thing. Most people think that gun is sub par, or at least average. But I can pull off 2.0 plus K/D's all day with it. In fact, a day or two ago, I had ten-ish games in a row with those kinds of numbers on my Warlock. Had one game with a four point something and around 30 kills. That health regen on kills comes in clutch. Style as a hallmark of victory, my friends.
