A difference in degree....and only a slight difference in kind.
1. Germany was in much greater turmoil in 1932 than the US in 2016.
2. Germany had a very weak democracy, and no cultural history of democratic self-rule.
3. Hitler was a sociopath, while Trump is a narcissist. While narcissists tend to be less prone to the sort of aggressive, exploitative (criminal) behavior that sociopaths are....they are still capable of it. Especially if they are motivated by the needs of their narcissm not being met.

Could be. Don't know enough about him to be sure. There are a lot of similarities....and some subtle differences between the two. His public life is more consistent with being a Narcissist, than a sociopath....but then we dont' really know all there is to know about his private life. ....and he's being deliberately evasive about those details.
