This list will be in ascending order of stupidity:
1) Going just outside of the circle for extended periods - Doing this means the others need to stay inside of the circle even more than they otherwise would in order to cover for you.
2) Diving into the horde - If there is a massive horde of monsters in that rocky field over yonder, diving into it head first will in all likelihood result in your abrupt demise. When this occurs, you are both leaving your team with one less ally, and encouraging them to put themselves at risk to try and revive you. In short, this can have a domino effect that will ruin your run.
3) Not using your sparrow to get to the satellite - This isn't a problem if you are part of the initial fireteam and you're all making your way up there side by side, that's not what this is about. What is a serious problem is when the people who arrive later on take as long humanly possible to get from their spawn to the fallen satellite.
Imagine this scenario: You and your 1 ally are struggling to hold your own against a horde of enemies, defending a satellite that will explode after a few minutes, with little to no cover, element burn that matches all of the enemies' weapons, and the two of you reviving each other on a frequent basis. Suddenly, both of you are struck down at the same time by a shot from a hive tombship. Right before the screen fades to black, a miracle occurs: someone else has joined the match.
Relieved, you switch your camera to spectate them and they're...walking up the hill. Not riding their sparrow, not sprinting, they're just ****ing walking. Taking a leisurely stroll, even walking straight into a rock at one point (probably playing with just one hand), this person clearly does not care.
Unfortunately, by the time the unbearable idiot finally makes to the battlefield, the satellite blows up you get wiped. And, of course, when you respawn your one ally decides he's had enough and ditches you, leaving you with someone who possesses an IQ equivalent to that of a grapefruit.

Someone must of made the mistake of matchmaking for the Saber strike portion of the sleeper quest. Haha.
